It’s sooo interesting I hope male lead won’t torture the female lead like possession or obsession ML Irtaza and sheryaar were cool but don’t want same plot. Like ml will have tons of misunderstandings regarding fl, then he will torture her, then he will learn the truth, regret and compensate.
When is the next posting?
There's something deeply symbolic about the food in this passage that I can't stop thinking about. Chu Zhaoxun demanding freshly cooked meals in the apocalypse isn't just character flavor—it's a statement. While everyone else has accepted that survival means gnawing on dry bread and canned goods, she refuses to let go of civilization's comforts. The cold storage warehouses represent something bigger: the remnants of the old world, still intact, still accessible to those with the power to claim them. Jiang Chuan's father's warehouses—7 tons of frozen meat, beef, mutton, fish—these aren't just supplies. They're a symbol of inherited privilege in a world that's supposed to have flattened everyone equally. But here's the twist: in the apocalypse, privilege only matters if you have the power to enforce it. And Chu Zhaoxun has that power in spades. The storage rings are another symbol worth examining. They represent control over space, over resources, over the very concept of scarcity. Chu Zhaoxun can forge them at will because in her cultivation background, they're worthless. But in this world? They're treasure. The inversion of value is the point. And then there's Qilin—the cat. A creature that doesn't need to survive, doesn't need to scavenge, eating freshly steamed fish while humans fight over bread. Is the author critiquing privilege? Or is she suggesting that in a world where power has been redefined, the old moral frameworks don't apply anymore? Chu Zhaoxun isn't evil for indulging herself—she's earned it. The question is whether that changes anything. The unresolved communication with the base adds another layer: civilization's structures are crumbling, and the symbols we once relied on (authority, communication, hierarchy) are failing. What's left is raw power—and Chu Zhaoxun has more of it than anyone.
