I don't feel like making an in-depth review, but, uh, it's pretty okay I guess. I mean, Xianxia isn't particularly my thing, but I think this is a pretty interesting concept. That being said, Bing Xue is NOT material for President of the only real country in the world so I can only rate it 4 out of 5 in Story Development. : )
I must say(since everyone starts out thinking the same way with this novel due to the uniqueness of it), I didn't expect this novel to be as grand as it is becoming. It is truly a well thought out concept, and it wonderfully encompasses the idea of an isekai in the most rediculous and tasteful of fashions. Before I begin my review, my rating is completely accurate.
When I started out reading, I was like... "What is this stick going to do, roll over its enemies? ", and behold, that was legit the first thing the MC did!! I was like, "Well, my expectations have been met. Add to favorites." Within 15 days, I got to current and I am excited for each new release.
The character development for this novel is a bit confusing to get at first, but soon you will fall in love with the sayings and quirks of the characters. One might even begin to "ship sticks", and that thought is just freaking wild lol. Overall, you will love and hate certain characters at different times, and maybe even disagree with how the MC does certain things; however, this only adds to the reading experience, let me assure you.
The story development is far from being a finished product, even at its current point(272). Even so, while some may see this story as slow, it is all leading to a larger, more grand and more defined picture. This novel, currently, is in Volume 4, so finding out there are story arcs... It blew my mind to think a "stick story" could get so far, AND IT'S NOT STOPPING!
With consistent and daily updates, along with an author who listens to the comments and consistently improves upon the work as a whole, it is very encouraging to see a story and the world develop more and more, day by day. I have found myself laughing over certain scenarios, amazed by the world building and descriptions of locations, and even enticed by the battles between sticks lol. (trust me, rolling is just the start...)
If you have the opportunity to get as far as me, I recommend joining the discord. It's one fun time in there, for sure.
Tldr; if you enjoy a captivating and wild, but a completely unexpected story filled with adventure, looming danger, phenomenal character development, and modernized humor for those relief moments- - Please, check out this novel. You won't regret it :)
I was searching for this kind of books and I got this by chance . This book shouldn't be judged by views because even though it has less views this book is amazing ❤️ if I must say. I love each and every character in the book . Highly recommendable book?. I'm really very curious to know what happens next I literally think about this book every once in a day. But there are two things like to mention here ... sometimes author gives so much explaination iit's like half of the chapter is only explaination and other thing is very slow updates.. until today whatever chapters has been released I read and waiting for next chapter but updates are like once in 1 or 2 months.. I'm not going to drop the book because it's amazing other than two issues mentioned above. I just hope author can give updates on atleast weekly basis
it's just too simple.the character isn't consistent.there is no thrill.the writing is of an amateur who actually tried.i read till the guy reached floor 7 and then it got cringey, boring and predictable. The fight scenes aren't really fight scenes, it's just the mc doing things.

This is detailed review written after reading all the published chapters (95 chapters).Writing quality: 4⭐ The author has stated that he is not a native English speaker so some mistakes are expected. There aren't that many spelling mistakes but grammatical errors are there. So four stars are enough.Story development: 4.5⭐ A very fast paced story with little info dumps. The author however slows down the story for a few chapters to explain a few things and all that. Overall the story isn't full of chapters in which MC is breaking through or creating pills using different ingredients. After all, we are all culture lovers.Character design: 3.5-4 ⭐ The characters are certainly good and the harem girls are strong and not like those weak girls in Chinese novels. It is mentioned that even the MC is afraid of them at certain times. I would have given more stats but we don't recieve that many character interactions and details until the second volume.Updating stability: 4.5⭐ The author updates seven chapters a week and I haven't seen him missing any updates. However, I would personally like ten to twelve chapters a week but if it will decrease the quality, please don't do it.World Background: 3.5-4.5⭐ Again I can't decide how many stars should I give. At first glance, the world is like any other Chinese cultivation world but later on we find out that it's a little darker than those world's, especially the Central continent. I am still accumulating information about the world and I might update this later on.Overall 4-4.5⭐If you love dual cultivation and harem with a MC who doesn't care about any young masters or royals, this novel is perfect for you. As I said earlier, this is a fast paced novel so you won't be bored sitting around waiting for the MC to breakthrough or creating a pill. I hope that this review helped you understand the novel.
I have read the first 30 chapter and can say that it has good writing quality and stability of updates. The story development and character design isn't really for me. While it is decent, I find it rather too generic (good guy trope) and I found his reincarnation rather useless, maybe there will be a reason for that later but for now, all I see is a somewhat obedient little boy in the MC. He had merged with the previous soul, yet there is no fear, or worry, or even acknowledgement that he was killed. Where is the caution, he goes around worrying about his mother, yet why is that? He just came into this world and the memories doesn't seem to affect him, can you generate affection quickly for someone this quickly? If he does have memory of his life as prince then why is there no fear or even a thought about his murder. What is the reason that he wants to get strong? Is it revenge, to protect his loved ones, I still have not found a reason for him or the story. I see no tension or reason to follow the story, his sister seems far more interesting.Usually the environment of fighting for thrones make the characters mature, yet the MC seems to lack that. While the story seems to check most boxes I really did not get an interest in following the MC's story. His origin not really that interesting, his circumstance he seem to not care, his cheat and bloodline a bit generic. I expected more then this from Invincible Corruption Manual.
