Wow! the bookcover is amazing... fell in love with the first chapter... worth reading
There are too many holes in the story, we never find out why Clara's "cousin" was trying to kill Jace nor what happened to him, we never learn why Susan was estranged from her family nor why she kept Arianna from them and we never find out what happened to Daisy, Emily, Elisa and Ned Jason
I enjoyed this book. Can’t wait to read more.
love this book is there going to be more
Great story! Just needs a really good edit.
Until now, it's been a bittersweet love story with a touch of angst, which I absolutely adore! I'm a huge fan of that emotional depth. I've been enjoying the writing and the main character, and this review is mainly meant to motivate the translator to continue, because I'm eagerly anticipating reading more!
I am completely smitten with this book! I definitely plan on revisiting it. It strikes a perfect balance of humor, romance, and a touch of charm without being excessively cringeworthy. The pacing is just right, neither too rushed nor dragging, making for an enjoyable reading experience.
"I appreciate this. The story is well-written and relatable. Both MC and ML exhibit成熟理智的特质, aligning with my own perspective, making it enjoyable to read. Although there isn't much drama, the narrative has a heartwarming charm. The only issue I have is the FL's mother; she's incredibly annoying. If you want to experience her for yourself, give it a try, and I assure you, you might feel the same way."
Certainly! The narrative may have some unrealistic elements, but it's becoming more engaging and enjoyable with each read. The villains receive a highly satisfying comeuppance, making it an uplifting read despite its darker premise. My only critique is the abundance of marriage and baby storylines; I'm overwhelmed by the number of weddings and childbirth scenes. It's quite overwhelming, but in a good way. The political intrigue keeps me interested, and the romance strikes the right chord for me. Although the main character is overpowered (OP), his just desserts on the villains make it tolerable. Overall, I find it worthwhile, and I'm still on the hunt for a similarly intense face-slapping novel.
A while back I stopped reading around chapter 144 does the story get better/focus less on romance?
Back at it's correct rank.
Nope? That’s an entirely different novel.
