The story itself is a wonderful concept, a splicing of a super scientific world with a fantasy world. The problem is execution. The story reads as if it’s being written by someone with English as their second language or straight from voice diction. The characters have weak impressions and the story rambles around with events and character actions that don’t really make much sense. There are some redeeming qualities however as the author often avoids common tropes (through design or mistake I can’t tell) and takes time to go back and review his work. Best of all he keeps to his release schedule.
Author literally destroyed his own story by not updating anymore. He is still shameless enough to ask for privilege. I haven't read for months but the story is only a few chapter forward where I am currently at. Such a shame.

Let me just say — the pacing in chapters 54-60 is absolutely flawless. The author knows exactly when to accelerate and when to slow down, and it keeps you hooked from start to finish. The dining scene opens with what seems like a mundane family meal, but within pages it escalates into a full-blown confrontation. Song Mei'er tries to stir trouble, Liu Xiyin counters with devastating precision, and then Yan Ting explodes. The tension builds so naturally — it's like watching a pressure cooker slowly coming to a boil until it just... erupts. And then Yan Ting storms out, and the scene shifts seamlessly to the Liu residence visit. What I love about the structure is how the author uses scene transitions as emotional resets. After the explosive dinner, we get a quieter, more intimate scene between Qin Wan and Liu Xiyin. Qin Wan gives her the hairpin and reveals the truth about the birthday gifts. This moment of maternal warmth comes right after the chaos, giving the reader a breather before the next wave of tension. Then the Liu residence scene — this is where the pacing really shines. Every interaction is layered with double meanings. Yan Changye's performative affection, Liu Xiyin's internal scheming about red envelopes, the maid who quietly slips out to report everything. The author is planting seeds everywhere. That maid leaving Biyu Pavilion? That's clearly setting up the next conflict. Someone is going to tell Liu Mingyue about this visit, and Liu Mingyue is already fragile. The chapter ends on this note of quiet dread — Liu Mingyue bedridden and deteriorating — which is a perfect cliffhanger. It makes you want to immediately open the next chapter. The author doesn't rush, doesn't drag, and every scene serves a purpose. This is how you write a web novel.
It’s captivating book I just hope there not to many chapters left
made me laugh, made me cry and yes I paid way to much to read it on here but I did, oh well.... will buy the book if I find it. highly recommend it even though the adult situations was not as steamy as u usually enjoy. the rest of the book makes up for it.

What a wonderful book. The way you put things into words was awesome. It makes you feel like you are that person. Then the story keeps you on the edge of your seat. The end of the of the book was perfect. Looking forward to more of your books.
