This is the first sci-fi novel that i’ve read and liked. I stay out of this genre because robots, space, etc are not interesting to me. However! This novel is pretty good for introduction to this type of genre. I didnt have a hard time understanding the concepts and the times were its either too complex or too boring for me, i can just skim through and i can still understand the story which i very much like. The mystery is good. The translation is also good. I think if there’s a thing that i don’t like then it would be the existence of a simp fmc. I’m still at the early chaps but from the comments, they said there’s no romance so i guess i can just ignore that. Hope you all give this a try ??

I initially thought the book was exceptional, giving it a solid 4-4.5 out of 5 stars. However, my enthusiasm waned after reaching Chapter 184. The author began introducing unnecessary complications without any logical reason, which significantly affected the flow.

In a pivotal moment, the protagonist finally reunites with the girl he has feelings for and her group. They had agreed earlier that he would join them once he gained strength, considering his initial weakness. After dedicating over a year to self-improvement, he manages to locate them in a distant city, only to face rejection from the girl who had eagerly awaited his arrival. Instead of accepting him, she sets an absurd condition – for him to create his own party, catch up with them, and then abandon his newfound companions to join hers.
This sudden turn of events feels illogical and demands patience. It seems like the plot is relying on manufactured conflict rather than genuine character development or progression. Introducing drama just for the sake of it feels lazy, as it distracts from creating new, meaningful plot points and forces the characters into repetitive cycles.
Despite these issues, I still find the story entertaining. The author occasionally devotes too much attention to trivial details, like a lengthy chapter devoted to a shopping spree with no clear purpose. Overall, until Chapter 184, it was a fun read. I'm hoping the narrative improves, so I'll continue and update my review accordingly.

As a girl, I occasionally find it problematic when the main male character has a younger sister, because many authors inadvertently include unsettling subtext where the sister can be overly annoying or even abusive, or they romanticize an unhealthy sibling dynamic. This novel stands out because the portrayal of their relationship feels much more authentic – it's a breath of fresh air compared to other similar stories on the platform. The male sibling dynamic here is handled quite nicely, and generally, Korean novels excel at depicting male friendships and sibling bonds compared to Chinese ones. The live chat and comments provided additional entertainment, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I would definitely give it a 10/10 recommendation just for that reason.
