Initially, I担忧故事会过度侧重于 the mentor-student dynamic, but my assumption was incorrect. The characters, especially Bai Changyi and Ting, exhibit remarkable maturity. Ting's growth is gradual and age doesn't seem to stand in their way. Their heartwarming ending stems from their dedication to making their unlikely bond work, despite the challenges they faced.
When Ting was grappling with fears of the future, aging, and mortality, Bai Changyi's approach resonated deeply with me. As someone who shares those concerns, his reassurance taught me the importance of cherishing every moment and not letting apprehensions consume my life. Reading this novel has enriched my perspective in countless ways. Perhaps in one, two, five, or ten years, I'll return to this masterpiece, touched by its emotional depth. Yeah kinda ,..I still read to the latest chapter tho. it was just that frustrating reading it ...mc is weak ,ignorant and always think with his lower brain . Mc was in the military but don't know the basic combat knowledge so I was kind of venting my frustrations here .
