This is in the middle of the pack when it comes to wizard cultivation novels. Unlike its predecessors it has realistic individuals with enough kind people to balance out the arrogant ones. The MC isn't evil and cares a bit about friendship. However, there are a lot of things I dislike. First is the slow progression. It has taken 170 chapters just for the MC to unlock his magic. This amount of time is ridiculous and should've never happened. Second is the amount of time the MC is an apprentice and taking unnecessary risks. He should have been smarter based off his previous teacher Jon, but instead he has been selling alchemy weapons, participating in death matches for fun and allowing his enemies who want to kill him to power up at a faster rate than him (Which is BS as the MC should be over 10 times faster with his technique.) Thirdly is the way how the author tries to create mystery in this novel about the 'truth'. What truth are you even talking about?? You never really gave it a real explanation and used it as a plot stopper by making his own teacher refusing to teach the MC anything at all because this rank 2 wizard wants a 15yr old boy to find the 'truth' of the universe by himself in 1 year. And the last problem I have is how the MC hasn't shown any urgency to save Jon. Instead the author has held it off and only brought it up when ever its relevant in the arcs. Overall I dropped this fic around chapter 265 due to the pacing being horrendously slow. (Weird since I usually love slow pace stories.)
Since the author seems to be a newbie, I have given one extra star in each category.
There are a few grammatical errors in the chapters that make for a jarring read but nothing that takes away from enjoying the read

Story started out interesting and detailed. Later, I felt the quality of the novel and character development dropped. It’s one thing if a MC were to acknowledge himself as straight-up ruthless or have a good reason for being so, but the MC acts like a hypocrite... I noticed lots of discrepancies between the MC’s supposedly good karma/intentions/nature and his recent illogical/pointless/horrible actions. For example, the MC proclaims not wanting to steal from other innocent cultivators like a bandit. Shortly after, his group decides to use a couple dozen innocent cultivators as fodder against a supposedly “strong” spider monster; his group even deliberately blocks the exit, murders the innocents (for whatever justified reason that my logical brain is unable to fathom) as the innocents attempt to escape, or simply watch the innocents die to the spider while they beg the MC to let them go. The MC even avoids culpability in the matter by blaming the spider while somehow having the nerve to act justified and righteous. Soon, I started cringing and feeling a little disgusted when trying to read chapters. Things just don’t add up or flow.
100 something or 200 chapters in. When Amos Kroc died the story had gone downhill. The mc had turned 180 in personality destroying any bit of character development in him. The story took 180, instead of journeying to the top step by step, the author got bored so he made the mc kill instead. It tries to fix it but the damage was done.The novel at that point was already dying in terms of story development.The character development died because the author wanted "boom boom hahaha look cool mc right? Kill kill" which did not fit the mc. He kills monsters but he was not that brave to murder dragons. In fact, he could have proved himself innocent but author just wanted an edgy novel. the novel turned edgy after Amos Krock's death, and his death was not even that sad, the author wanted him to die (because he added the tree half deity soul which Amos knew but never he said it? Very obvious author).The author got sick of this novels' tone and wanted it to become grim instead of happy, but he sucks at it.
Okay, so not like other who apparently just rated this novel based on the cover, I thought when i found this novel that it will be good judging on the rating but i was truly disappointed in this novel, i read so far up to the chapter 11 and it is so frustrating to read. Maybe the rest is good but if you want the audience to read your book well the beginning is kinda pretty important. So i wish you good luck for the future autor and i will just read something esle.
ok if you are looking in reviews then to be honest the novel is as usual a Isekai op mc novel where there is no logic for events and if you think about why you should not read this novel because mc meats a divine wolf at chapter 6 so you get what am saying little bit work and here's is our mc with op level powers I kinda think that now days novels are less focus on story and making mc op from start fell kinda Iretating well I also like op mc like solo leveling and second life ranker but the mc in the start are not as op as this novel and I also forgot mention mc is also like man
