really really really bad like says stuff in one paragraph then contradicts what he said in the next. guy can't remember what numbers he wrote to save his life and has several names for each level or a cultivation system he doesn't explain.
This book is great and cool to read. Served a story about martial arts. Characters are very calm at all. Background of world this book very nice too.
This MC is fucking hilarious with every step causing misunderstanding and you will cheers for him such amazing Novel right there and the interaction between him and the world is so funny
After reading the first few chapters, I get why this story is fast-paced. There is action packed in every single one of these chapters (really not good for my heart lol). It’s pretty good for the most part. However, I wish some of the characters have more common sense and that there would be less cliches. But then again, it’s a translated Chinese novel so cliches are expected. P.S. It’s a bummer this book didn’t get chosen. The concept of having a limited lifespan and face life-threatening situations to live on is pretty interesting.

Main Characters all have excessive background to them or it is getting fleshed out later on in the story.World Background: The World is massive, with different Factions and Minds trying to wrestle for the power to be had.

I am baffled by some of the decisions of this story. When selecting to introduce a female character, they know are spying on them, but yet main characters are just chosing to ignore it.They start acting stupid, and gets bossed around by a secretary... They are supposed to be smart, VERY smart, and have a large base of knowledge to base their decisions on. But yet, it just derails the story in my opinion. It feels like the focus just shifts.
Honoria coming in as a potential lover in his harem just really disturbed me and brought back some uncomfortable memories about a manga with an idiotic MC that only knew how to think with his wang. I love the story, war and kingdom building but adela and linde are already quite perfect, Honoria's just feels forced all because the author prpbably just wanted more women. Adela being underaged gave me enough interest to keep on reading until finally berengar and she can have a family. Now this random spoiled and naive chick out of nowhere just barges in and apparently berengar starts to fall for her. Honoria would've been more interesting if berengar acted like a manipulative charmer and used her to forge a somewhat good but strained relationship with the byzantine empire while actually holding no feelings for the woman. But no, author just had to go with "I started to fall for her" and all their early interactionsand flirtings just seem like a forced entry for a 3rd woman which just makes me cringe in annoyance.once again i love the story but just screw honoria. Only way i can find her presence in the novel tolerable is if berengar is actually just manipulating her this whole without any feelings but sadly i dont see that happening so i can only hope honoria doesnt singlehandedly become the reason i drop this wonderful work
