Okay so I need to talk about how this story opens because honestly it just grabbed me by the throat and didn't let go. The blind date scene is absolutely perfect setup—this guy laying out his ridiculous demands like he's negotiating a business deal, and Wen Qingli's response? "Does your family have a throne to inherit?" I literally screamed at my phone. That line alone is worth the price of admission. But then—THEN—she walks out and bumps into LU ZHENG. The boy she's secretly loved since high school. And what does he do? He doesn't even say hello properly, he just goes straight to "Do you want to get married?" Like it's the most normal question in the world. And she says yes before she can even process what's happening. Twenty minutes later they're holding marriage certificates. TWENTY MINUTES. I was still processing when I realized they were already legally married. And then the story immediately pivots to a homicide case with a decomposed body found in the mountains. The victim turns out to be a graduate student at her university. The plot doesn't just move fast—it sprints, it sprints while the protagonist is still trying to figure out if her flash marriage is real or a dream. The way the author weaves together the romantic subplot with the murder investigation from page one is brilliant. By the end of these seven chapters, I have zero idea what's going to happen next and I am OBSESSED.

I'm up to chapter 28 and so far loving this. The FL is super sweet and the 3 ML's are all very detailed and interesting characters. I thought I liked the Commander but the Prince is winning me over - love the burn. Can't wait for more of the two of them. Keep going dear author! You'll get my one vote a day :)
