I keep coming back to the tie. It's such a small detail but it carries the entire thematic weight of this section. Shen Shuli tied that tie for Mu Huaixu. Not Fu Yanci. The narrative makes a point of Fu Yanci noticing it—'His dark eyes narrowed sharply—he recognized it immediately.' A tie is intimate. It's something you do for someone close, something that requires touching them, being near their neck, your hands on their chest. When Shen Shuli ties it for Mu Huaixu, it's not just a romantic gesture—it's a transfer of loyalty. She's performing an act of care for the man Fu Yanci fears will take her away. And then there's the child, which is the novel's most devastating symbol. Shen Shuli is pregnant, which should bind her to Fu Yanci forever, but instead it becomes the very thing that traps her. She can't leave, can't resist, can't even protect herself because 'not only would she lose the baby, but her body would be ruined.' The child is supposed to be love made flesh, but in this story it's a chain. And Fu Yanci's two faces—Mu Huaixu called him that, and Shen Shuli only just believed it—this is the theme the novel is building toward: the performance of love versus the reality of possession. Every gesture Fu Yanci makes is calculated. Every 'I love you' is a strategy. The question the book is asking, quietly and repeatedly, is whether anything real exists beneath all this performance, or if love in this world has always been just another form of power.
The novel just got the chapter 10 after less than a week, was here since the start and what I can say is that the first 2 chapters was not the most interesting ones at all, its getting better every single chapter so give it a try.
I like ur first work but I hope this will not the same on ur last one there's no need for more supernatural power in the back man let's be real it's already op having a system that help u and hoping for more business and building secret organization that protect u anyway keep this up man
great novel although many people will be turned off by the endless sex in the beginning it gets decreased later and start focusing on the world building also there is action when there is need for action so people should give it a try
interesting book, please keep it up author.
I loved the characters and especially the protagonist, the way you wrote it is pretty amazing, and I haven't seen any grammatical errors I've read so far. I'm excited to see how it goes as I read through more chapters and I'm wishing you all the best with the story! Keep up the good work!
I like his stability like he is really working hard and making every effort to rise up and do something I think he needs some more exposure so I think he deserves a but more exposure
One of the most beautiful and wonderful novels I have read, combining investigations, crime, horror, gothic horror, bloodshed, psychological horror, cosmic horror, darkness, sadness, love stories and drama. The writer seems to be creating a complete story from all aspects. It really amazed me, to be honest.
This novel has an incredibly strong start, easily a 10/10 in my book. The pacing, the atmosphere, and the characters immediately draw you in, making it hard to put down. The author does a fantastic job of balancing tension, emotion, and world-building, keeping the reader engaged from the very first chapter. One of the things I appreciate most is how unique the premise is. You don’t often come across stories like this on WebNovel, and it’s refreshing to see something that stands out from the usual tropes. The writing style is immersive, and the dialogue feels natural, making the characters feel real and relatable.I truly hope the author keeps up the great work and doesn’t drop this story. It has so much potential, and I can already tell it’s going to be an unforgettable ride. If you’re on the fence about reading this, trust me, it’s worth it.

Interesting blend of character progression and worldbuilding. The first two chapters are great, so far. Can't wait to finish work. Highly recommended.
