Okay so I need to talk about how Mo Fei's entire operation here is basically a masterclass in preparation disguised as mundane life events. She's selling an apartment, renting a storefront, finding a new place to live, AND secretly stockpiling food and supplies—all while her kids think this is just a normal relocation. The plot threading is insane. What really got me was the ground fissure detail. She specifically warns the kids to avoid main roads because that's where the fissures appear. That's such a small throwaway line but it tells us SO much about the disaster that's coming. And then later when she's moving, she makes sure to tell the movers to be quiet because the old building has poor soundproofing. She's already in survival mode, planning for contingencies within contingencies. The space upgrade moment though—when she fills the storage and it goes BOOM, Level 2, 200 cubic meters, automatic categorization—that's the kind of plot beat that makes you sit up. It's not just a power-up for the sake of it. The upgrade condition being tied to filling the space feels like the author is setting up a progression system that's going to matter a lot when things get bad. And the fact that she can now create invisible hands? That's a game changer for logistics. I also love how the plot contrasts her normal-seeming activities with the underlying urgency. She's negotiating rent like a regular person but she's also ordering twenty servings of everything from every restaurant in town. The dual narrative of 'normal life' and 'preparing for apocalypse' runs through every scene.
Okay so let me just say this out loud—Jiang Huaichu is one of the most fascinating characters I've encountered in a long time. On the surface, he's gentle, refined, polite to the point of being almost fragile. But then you read between the lines and realize this man has cold, calculating eyes that could freeze fire. The scene where he tells his subordinates to eliminate anyone suspicious after he returns? That's not the voice of someone who just wants to bear a child for political gain. That's a man who has already made peace with being a pawn and a player simultaneously. And Huo Xiao—oh man, Huo Xiao. His internal monologue in Chapter 1 is everything. The way he's struggling with these feelings he can't quite name, watching Jiang Huaichu pack his bags and leave, thinking about how all the good things go to Xiao Yun... it's painfully human. You can feel his jealousy, his confusion, his loyalty all tangled up in one breathless paragraph. The author doesn't even need to say 'Huo Xiao is in love'—it's right there in the subtext, throbbing. But the real relationship gold is between Jiang Huaichu and the Old Manor Master. This ninety-year-old man is simultaneously the most manipulative and most genuinely caring person in the entire story. He offers Jiang Huaichu the intelligence network of the world's most powerful manor, then immediately follows up with 'oh by the way, bear my family's enemy a child.' And Jiang Huaichu—composed, dignified Jiang Huaichu—just sits there processing this like his entire worldview is being recalculated in real time. The power dynamic here is delicious. The Old Manor Master thinks he's orchestrating a political marriage, but Jiang Huaichu already knows what he's getting into and has already decided to do it. Who's really in control here?
Wow! A new book from one of my favorite WN authors. But three books at the same time ? Will you have enough time for all of them? ?Awesome work as always. Expecting a riveting story!
This is different from Kornet story and og in Rudeus he will try to grow on realistically this story will be short chapters and very slow paced with many slice of life as possible
This is a great novel so far very clear character development and description and the story is progressing quite nicely as we are anxiously anticipating more. A wonderful ouede of literature and I can’t wait for more.

Great concepts and characters’ design. I love how the author creates the robots. The description of how they look like could already let us see what they would look like it real life. Other than that, great storyline and this will be added to my collection.
Here is my review about this novel.Character: So far I really like the characters in this story. The family dynamic between the characters, Thomas, Aurora, and Lila are healthy and support each other. I also like Aurora characters with each chapter opening bit by bit about her mysterious power. I even like Aurora power attracted some dangerous being like the shadows to hunt her down, making it more intense. Gideon as a villain is pretty fine with the creepy vibe especially with him. so obsesssed to hunt down Aurora and his creepy presence everytime he showed upWorldbuilding: So far the description of rhe world is quite beautiful and well detailed. I also like the author gave little bit of lore for the world. I do like to see more expansion about it.Pacing: So far the pacing of the plot is quite smooth and engaging too. Overall, if you like fantasy story with family dynamic, I recommended this book.
Nice novel, it's not very exciting but the world building is really bad, why the hell start from the bottom? The main character and the secondary characters remain mortal humans for so long that I got bored, the author focuses on the characters and building the family much more than the traditional plots and lore of the farming world, it's like a rural family of idiots.
I would have rated it more had you only joined the Supreme Side, not Strongest. Strongest is overrated bruh haha! Joking! Looks good, good luck in your endeavor and may lots of readers check it out!
