Aww, how adorable! This was my first taste of a slice-of-life/danmei story set in high school. Initially, it was a bit challenging to adapt, as I'm used to getting deeply immersed in intricate plots and extensive descriptions (thanks, Priest). I sensed a reading slump, but I'm incredibly glad I persevered because I truly enjoyed it. The couple, He Zhao and Xie Yu, is incredibly sweet (forever shipping them). The story strikes a balance between lightheartedness and drama, which actually made it entertaining and kept me hooked. There were no shocking twists, just a consistent dose of cuteness. I highly recommend this for a fun and amusing read, where you can laugh at the antics of stressed-out high school students who'd rather be gaming than studying.
