"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!"
I’m up to ch 441. Overall if you are looking for something laid back with not much going on this is the book for you. Mc is overly cautious and while he makes mistakes he does what he can to not make the same mistakes again. My gripes about the story is author will say the same thing 2-3 times back to back sometimes to pad the word count. It’s also said every time mc does research on side occupations that it’s okay because he has all the time in the world to learn anything he wants and practice anything he wants. All the while his cultivation speed is just as fast or faster than people around him… so really his immortality means nothing so far. That stuff aside I do enjoy the story.
Writing quality is nice 4/5. Stability of updates is cool 4/5. Story development... from his first fight to the point he could relax the check his status page you need to read 20 chapters of info dump and pointless interactions in order to make the info dump needed. I would have called this a slow burn but its not even that. its not burning at all so 1/5.. To call it dark is wrong. It's sick. SAW level sick. clear and detailed explanations of butchering character's somehow reads like high school biology. Again it's not dark it's sick. MC is an idiot. somehow sounds like autistic or some other brain-damaged childish murderer. while still around 30+ years old he is describing murder and blood childishly. World background is way tooooooo much detailed way too much. so even after 30 chapters all you'll understand is it's a post-apocalyptic world where demons are ruling and humans became livestock. So overall i do not recommend to sane ppl who likes to read some nave villainous and/or dark fantasy. But if you are into gore and butchering go for it. Defiantly not my cup of tea. best of luck to author.
This narrative is a remarkable achievement, captivating from start to finish. The author’s exceptional storytelling is evident in the multidimensional characters and intricate plot. Every twist and turn kept me engaged, making it difficult to stop reading. The writing is both refined and accessible, painting vivid images that pull you into the author’s world.
If you want to read a dark fantasy with a pretty grim setup from the start, where the MC had to undergo a lot of emotional trauma, downfall to downfall, then you may enjoy this novel. The strongest point is the MC itself, the turns of his life and it let you wondering about how he would cope and do in the future, to escape both from himself and his very own nature.
hmmm ..... good atleast after reading 2chaps, this is my cup of tea.
Good stuff, maybe I haven't read a lot of other novels yet but this was quite good.I'm gonna recommend this to whoever is reading this review.
I will just put five star for the hardwork I have put in this novel.First of all I am not a chinese, so there will be some very minor mistakes. I must warn you guys that the MC will be a very ruthless villian. His personality will be between chaotic evil to chaotic neutral.
Giving this a perfect review simply because I love how the characters interact and especially the way Zick cuss! Haha, I know... I’m weird. I am looking for more updates in this book! Love it!
A must read.I was laying bored playing with my phone and saw webnovel popup on my Facebook downloaded it and browsed a few stories after coming across this one I am so a keeper of webnovel. This story is intense and well thought out for a moment it felt like it was a movie I was watching breaking down the detail. The characters are well explained and it made me curious about there capabilities and just as I anticipated the title lived up to the story well done Author a 10 star rating to you
Please do not abandon this novel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
interesting, albeit slightly flawed read. Steve includes the good and the bad. The flaw is including crude stories including one where a waitress flashes him her chest only covered with whipped cream. That simply serves no purpose besides shock value.A strength is his inclusion of specifics about the restaurant business. Most authors do not include hard operating numbers and advice in a narrative book. He does and it is extremely useful information. I found those details are comparable in less words to books I have read devoted entirely to running the business. He nails it on the head when talking about going the extra mile for your guests. His philosophy and stories reminded me of Nordstrom’s commitment to unexpected service, even when it is not even related to the core business.Summary: Worth the read. Great for the business details and advice.
