The premise and unique concept initially set it apart from the flood of 'trapped-in-another-world' light novels that have充斥ed the market lately. In the first installment, we witness a tale of a boy betrayed and left for dead, whose very humanity seems shattered. The narrative begins with a compelling setup, hinting at a dark,心理纠葛丰富的故事, but unfortunately, it quickly falls flat.
The plot takes a nosedive when our protagonist meets the first女主角, marking the beginning of clichéd, generic tropes that plague many similar novels. It transforms into an overly dramatic, angst-filled harem tale, with the main character constantly bemoaning and fumbling around with his growing cast. The supporting characters, including the stereotypical lolis, busty characters, and demihumans, serve little purpose beyond boosting the MC's ego.
The story becomes predictable, with the MC effortlessly overcoming any obstacles thanks to contrived Deus Ex Machina plot devices. As of now, my persistence in reading stems from stubbornness rather than enjoyment. Here's my assessment:

It's alright. This web novel falls under the "tell" rather than "show" category, offering a lighthearted experience. There's nothing particularly extraordinary about the plot, apart from the protagonist leveling up through simple actions, which is a typical isekai trope. Another reviewer aptly compared it to a diary – if that suits your taste and you appreciate a lighter take on isekai, you'll likely enjoy it. However, if you prefer novels with vivid descriptions and intricate details, this might not be the right choice for you.
This novel is fantastic. It's an enjoyable read, although the female lead's stubbornness can lead to some amusing misunderstandings. I'm currently on page 17, chapter 2. In an interesting plot twist, the male lead initially deceives the FL to gain sympathy after a poor first impression, but his lies only escalate the complications. I appreciate how his own actions create difficulties for him. The FL truly stands up for those in need, especially in risky situations, which I admire. Although the attempt to help the ML with a perceived sexual harassment issue adds a comedic touch due to a series of escalating misunderstandings, her genuine intentions and noble actions are commendable.
After reading up to Chapter 211 (latest)... I absolutely loved this novel!
Of course, the beginning smelled like it would be a generic OP protagonist story, but the later chapters do a very good job of keeping the OPness and still making the story interesting.
There was a Lovecraftian flair to the whole concept, but the "corrupted information leading to brain explosion" cliche didn't appear here, so I'm very happy. World building is top-notch, battle scenes are nicely done, each of the nine faiths/Gods are well thought out and have a deep backstory behind them. Plus, I hate Chinese cultivation novels with repeated young master annoyances, so this was the only great novel among the recent additions (including the English originals), so I'm giving it a full 5-stars after comparing its competitors.
