This is a great and enthralling novel by the same author of TKA. I have no idea why some reviews call the characters flat. I really enjoy the characters of the mercenary group and find them to be entertaining. This really scratches the itch for VRMMO novels.

I could not continue reading after 37 chapter...or bad English... or MC is stupid and lame....so before you believe them...you should give it try, I mean i too have read comments and then gave up few novels because of bad review...but when I read them...I found that they were so awesome...what I am trying to say is everyone has different tastes and likes... as for different negative comments... people are expecting op mc in the first 30 chapters then what's the use of writing long stories...novel are all about story development, how mc goes from an ant to dragon...if you expect and instant op then please go and read those short stories with 20-30 chapters....as for stupid actions of mc, it is a part of character development...
The story just jumping around. The world building not clear. The characters attitude and choice are confusing and contradict. Dropped. U will not find any logic in it, and everything just contradict like author forget the previous chapter when making a new one
My favorite novel on Qidian.It starts a bit slow but keeps building up. The main character is very interestingly portrayed, unlike many Xuanhuan novels. Thanks for the translator for the translation quality and the update stability, really enjoy that.
it was quite fun, but past 60th chapter translation quality is comparable to the level of decent mtl and it drops. not worth paying for that.
A cultivation novel that is actually different from the thousands of cultivation novels where the main character is considered trash even when he reaches immortality. The novel reminds of Upgrade Specialist in Another World. The main character has the ability to upgrade weapons in a more efficient manner than other blacksmiths.He has extreme talent in smithing. His talent in cultivation is ordinary, however, due to receiving an object with the devour attribute he can take the blood and qi of beasts to increase his to cultivate faster. Others can also do this through the use of special herbs to increase their blood and Qi. It's just easier for the main character as all he has to do is kill animals.His cheat? allows him to hold attributes in his mind palace? which allows him to transfer and take unique attributes from weapons and apply them elsewhere as he wills.
This is a novel about a guy who transmigrates to the body of a sect master of a destroyed sect. He is reborn with a sect building system that is based on a (mobile?) game he played in his previous life. Unfortunately the author chose to write the novel in the style of making the main character look cool is more important than the story and world building. Even just looking at the free chapters it is already clear that thr plot armor is far stronger than that of most novels in the genre. It goes so far that world building doesn't always make sense with what the mc does and very often motivations for actions taken by characters is questionable. And even though the author tries to make it look like the mc can be in danger but bc the plot armor is so obvious there is never any suspense about the mc winning or losing a fight. In some fights the author even just straight up says the opponent, who is a major realm stronger than the mc, cannot win before the fight even starts. This novel can also be explained as a not so original idea delivered with mediocre writing quality and storytelling. Having said that I have also seen many novels who done far worse but don't have expectations when reading this, it is a time filler at best.
