Looking at the tags on the protagonist, we could confuse him with Shang?
I won't say what happens in Ch. 116 but I was eating almonds while reading and I regret it slightly. Good read but damn man.
The dynamic between the main character (MC) and the love interest (ML) was intriguing, but the remainder of the story felt somewhat平淡 andfiller-like. Throughout most of the book, it appeared that the MC had a lukewarm attitude towards the ML, tolerating him rather than truly embracing him. This wasn't my preferred reading experience.
I thoroughly enjoy reading this and wholeheartedly recommend it, but with a cautionary note - it's quite addictive. It offers a lighthearted and amusing read, which I appreciate, especially the主角那洒脱不羁又带点顽皮的性格,我喜欢他的这种人格魅力。
That was quite an intriguing experience. I wish I could better understand the identities of the characters in the epilogue. However, I could have skipped over the graphic description of the violence.
Having ventured into the captivating world of "Martial Arts System," I found myself thoroughly engrossed in its compelling narrative. The author's vivid descriptions brought each martial art technique to life, making it an exhilarating read for both action enthusiasts and those seeking depth in character development. The protagonist's journey from humble beginnings to martial prowess was inspiring, as I couldn't help but root for his relentless pursuit of mastery. The pacing kept me hooked, seamlessly blending intense fight scenes with intriguing plot twists. Overall, this novel is a thrilling blend of adventure and self-discovery that leaves readers eager for more.
The story reads like an expanded outline describing a large amount of meaningless actions and thoughts of the MC. If you don't make your own logical leaps and imagine some other world you've already read about, then it's mostly a confusing and somewhat blank story. There's like 25-50% actual content and the rest of it is rambling nonsense about irrelevant daily actions like a kid telling their parent about their day at school. It's painful on the eyes. Every sentence is short. Each of those sentences is a tiny paragraph by itself with linebreaks. It is annoying. Also, it's written in first-person POV with thought bubbles mixed in which makes absolutely no sense when they're not head-hopping into psychic author territory. First-person POV is already that character's thoughts. Why get weird with thoughtception? It makes the formatting atrocious.
See I really wanted to enjoy this novel but Gu dai is infuriating, she so passive to those who harm her so she continues to get harmed, like I understand wanting to find the mastermind but she literally has no proper plan, she has hacking skills but just lingers until it’s a real problem, she didn’t bother finding the mastermind with her skills, she’s passive with her ex husband and doesn’t draw clear boundaries, time and time again she’s been put in danger because she keeps her guard down, even with her accumulated skills she always dawdles about the people causing her problems from song ling and the song family to jiang yue, even low time employees and spies in her own house, like I’m so pissed off I have to come here to rant. Her approach to things is so annoying especially regarding her ex husband. Like bye Felicia
As an author, I'd just like to just remind you to be careful when using AI with your story. I know it's very tempting, but the reason people read your work is for your own unique, human style. Your writing is obviously partially, if not entirely AI.
Now, there's nothing wrong with using AI to help you generate ideas and outline your story, and even help structure your chapters, But please be very careful in using it to write your chapters. Just simply: don't do it.
If you can, I recommend writing the whole chapter by yourself (I know it's not easy, it takes me 4 hours to write 1000 words) and then when you feel you can't improve it any more, put your complete chapter into AI and ask it for improvements. (Let AI check your work, not you checking AI's work) From experience, readers have a near unlimited amount of books to read; they want to read a human's hard work (they want you to bleed for them), not a book generated by AI.
Anyways, there's a lot I can talk about in terms of plot and story, but I don't think that very suitable right now. (I've already rambled a ton)
I don't want to discourage you, I think that writing's an awesome thing to do! That's why I gave 5 stars. In fact, if it wasn't written with AI, I would be ranting about how incredible the writing is. Purely put, the writing is *perfect*, much better than mine! It's at the quality of a top veteran writer, unbelievably perfect, and apart from the plot, has literally nothing to be improved upon. (And obviously, this level of writing is going to turn some heads)
Anyways, feel free to delete my review if you don't want it on your book. Don't let me discourage you! (Actually, I'm expecting this review to be deleted, that's what I would do haha) The target audience of this review is you, nobody has to see it ^^
If you want help or further feedback on your writing feel free to send me your handle, I'd be happy to help.
just started but really interesting so far
