Sithaari
Not going to waste a whole lot of time in this. Zi is not treated unfairly. Her character is stupid, lazy, greedy, and dishonest. She's been that from the absolute beginning of the story, since she stupidly tried to control a storm when she barely had any cultivation. You're right, this story is built on Zi, her stupidity at the very least, but that doesn't make her a likeable nor enjoyable character. Also at this point (post herd of snow lions encounter with Duan Yuan) her death wouldn't effect the story that much, East Ocean needs Yujia's Elixir Pills too much and they only get to keep those if they keep Ren. Yes the "romance" portion would go away, but frankly that's been ridiculous and poorly executed from the beginning. Yujia isn't even unrealistic, I know a bunch of women just like her. Kind, patient, caring, smart, good housekeepers, all that and a bag of chips. Zi, unfortunately, also isn't unrealistic, only everyone's continued tolerance of her biTchiNess is. Someone would have put her in her place, if only verbally long before now.So, yes, her stupidity and aSSholery were necessary for the book, that doesn't mean it's unfair to hate her. She's been unlikable from the beginning, her own parents described her as unlikable, her purpose in the book is too be hated because she's a BiTch and provided a necessary conflict. That doesn't mean it's wrong to hate her, people hate villains all the time and they provide the same. All the other villains have been transient, Zi is the toxic viper in their midst that no one seems to be willing to cut the head off of so she just keeps poisoning her environment. Her death would provide a central conflict, eliminate the subpar romantic subplot, and even give Ren a reason to train harder, revenge. It wouldn't even be all that hard to keep Ren blameless since she's constantly running off by herself.TL; DR You're wrong on most counts for several fairly obvious reasons.
So I used my power to cover the cracks. I didn't restore them as I couldn't, but instead applied a camouflage magic on the cracks, in order to make them appear black.
Why...
"Hahaha, you can and ask questions that you want to ask."
"no...no..no... the thing is, Kids from the orphanages in the Empire are all coming. the King's family is sponsoring. kids always love you.. plus they'll be a lot of elite families bringing their kids. you know how those brats behave..." when he knew he was getting lost for words, he tried to look for another means "yes.. you know that those kids in Freeborn orphanage likes you a lot. do you want them to be bullied, do you?"
"You have a cold?" Iris asked.
"Sunshine! You okay? Did Konoha hurt you?! What happened?!" Tsu's voice rings behind me.
"As I said, I'm the genius actor, blessed by the gods." Rykar wiped away the spittle and sat up lazily with a grin on his face. "He bought it completely and he wants to see you immediately! He's promised almost anything we want including freedom, although that's obviously bullsh*t. I've told him that you've seen something on the fields but don't know who to tell. There's someone waiting outside for you now"
"Knock the door, please. I'll take my leave now," Danky told me.
"Sincere?" Karl snickered. "You are in the position of putting your lives on the line. Why go so far without having a reward after finishing the deed?" In his mind, Karl merely saw her as a naïve girl and foolish.
"Good Morning Uta-chan, Are you feeling alright ?" (Kyouya)
"Wake up!"
