For anyone reading it after FLT and finding first 3 chapters repetitive. Just read till the 5th chapter. This novel takes off instantly. Laughed out loud late at night.
Honestly this is the first book that has kept me interested in a long time. I enjoy every single chapter and it is very well written. Definitely would recommend others to give it a shot!

If you turn of your brain and read for some faceslapping it is enjoyable but there is clearly very little though going into it. characters are flat and motivations for/outcomes of their actions are often extremely illogical. anything goes as long as it creates conflicts to drive the story.
Female Protagonist? I approve of it now make the motherland proud and you shall be rewarded. Western school shooting? Hmph! In Soviet Russia the students shoot the gunman.
It’s a great novel, interesting idea, good story background, better then average character descriptions and great writing quality the only complaint is that there so much more chapters on p-a-t-r-e-o-n then here and I’m broke but besides that it’s a great story so far, I hope it will continue to be great. ?????
Read the entire thing in one go, highly recommended! Surprised to see some exciting and good trial read after a while. World building is amazing in the 20 chapters I've read and MC is smart. Hope this gets picked cause I'm excited what this novel has to offer!
Very similar to night ranger. Characters aren't always the best but it makes up for it with great action and pretty good world design. Other thing that I love is that it has a d&d based leveling system. Overall pretty good.
