Thus far it is an interesting change of pace compared to other VRMMO novels. The MC does not play the same class as he did in the past, but picks a new one he felt had the greatest potential. The author also avoids certain cliches, though not all of them. While this is great for the story, the information on the world itself is rather lacking (but who knows, this is only ch22 so its relatively early in the novel, perhaps that'll change in the future chaps). The one thing that bugs me however is the translation quality. The translators literally copy-pasta'd the First Kill announcement of one boss for another, without changing the boss's name. So even though the MC killed one monster, the announcement was for something else he killed earlier. This just speaks of laziness. Second are all the grammar issues and missing words that leave the occasional sentence in broken English. The translators need to put more effort into the editing process. Period. Edit: After the recent chapter snafu with ch 33 & 34 and the translators not doing a single damn thing to fix it, ontop of the lazy translation, this has earned them 1 star rating. I'd give less if i could.
I love reading this novel. As an online player of 16years, I too love gaming! This novel really a great find for gamers like me. I wish there's more free ads to watch so I can save some spirit stones. It's so expensive just to read, and I just bought another ss just to read the new updates since I spend a lot already because I have tons of novels in my library that I'm reading as well...
Right at the first chapters of this ****show you can notice what most living beings dread... EXTREME PLOT ARMOR.The mc is just an asshole to the king and can just escape the palace without any repercussion, right after that he is forced by a drunk guild leader to enter his guild... guess what?! He just bows down, because he is a strong and independent (e d g y) Mc that won't be a slave to those damned kings! Even if the way that he does that is by plot armor and is ultimately meaningless! Yeah! You go Main character!
The mc is a dog has no pride is dumbass is like a servant 0 iq why bcoz Mc was asked by one ***** to show him his sword man ship well how he had to go her to place and he dumb ass hell went their got humiliated like hell then showed her then got one of his guy killed in trying to flee he is so useless I can't even imagine
First chapter in and I already know it’s a trash quality translation. I should have got the hint on the synopsis when the MC’s name was translated to Junior Leopard.Unsubscribed, banned and throwed it in the bin. Please filter out your translators and don’t just accept random strangers you see walking on the road.
TL seems good (rarity on Webnovel recently...). Unfortunately the story itself doesn't seem too interesting to me...........................
this novel was average at first but latter on it became a headache to read. huh.. it's getting down graded with each chapter. huh the author should stop writing it if he can't think of anything new .
Did I ever review this before? Nah, I'll just review it again...It's about isekai(Another isekai to xianxia world, URGH!!) guy that have roulette draw as his cheat.I had finish reading this, and I can say that it's one of those shameless xianxia world. I don't mean the mc, but the other young master and old master and some ancestor itself.. Everyone with higher cultivation just attack mc without care and thought its justified to attack him just because he's a genius...
Novel started off well, but the ‘flirting’ aspect of the system completely ruins it. The MC can’t even talk to women without the system penalizing him.Want to say what you have in your backpack a 40yo woman? Flirting. This is essentially a simp training simulator because the only thing the MC is allowed to do is please women with everything he says, or he gets penalized.Let’s not even mention the fact that the MC isn’t even the main character. The FL who is a complete stuck up, uncharismatic ***** is the real MC.All in all, complete trash. Writing style isn’t too bad and the humor is there, but everything else is complete garbage.
Having read both the stories written by the author(yeah I know GE is still being written, but you get my point), I can definitely say that he is experimenting with his writing style, plot, and the story itself.Spirit Soul appears to be similar yet different than the author's previous writing ventures in many aspects. While we see the usual slow pace at which the story unfolds, he does paint a fine picture of what the world looks and feels like. The first few chapters look promising and I hope to find out more of what the author's mind has in store for us.Kudos to you, hiddy!!
This is a great novel that deserves more recognition. I don’t like the concept of systems because it promotes lazy writing, giving authors an excuse to get away with plot holes by using an AI cheat device. This novel is intriguing enough that I can let it slide. I feel that this novel should be in the top 10, it’s a lot better than the #1 rank My Vampire System.I am currently 175 chapters in, and so far the writing quality is above average. You get a good sense of what the world looks like thru the vivid descriptions, without being verbose. No glaring spelling/grammar mistakes. I read other reviewers saying that author corrects any spelling and grammar mistakes, which is probably why I didn’t find any. Author pays attention to writing quality and it shows. The pace is a bit slow, but good novels take time to mature.World development is excellent and the concept is very interesting; random chunks of many different worlds are snatched up by an all powerful entity and stitched together to form a single universe, complete with all types of human and alien species and ecosystems. The new inhabitants of this world become players in what seems like a ‘survival of the fittest’ type game, every entity having an oracle system that predicts the future and guides them upon their chosen path. But it seems there isn’t just one of these worlds, there are many, each with their own ‘boss’. Not much is revealed yet, but judging from the story so far, I see great potential.Character development is good so far. The characters actually evolve (not just the MC), and they learn from their mistakes and constantly improve themselves (or die). The character interactions aren’t forced and seem realistic enough, each character has a distinct personality and their own motives. This is a refreshing change from the usual dumb robotic characters you see in other system novels. Even the system itself could possibly show up as as real characters later on. I don’t factor stability updates into my ratings, I understand that quality novels take time to write. I rather the author release 1 chapter a day of good quality writing instead of pumping out trash.
Very original beginning where MC is designed before his death, no classical "ugly/boring/untalented dude got hit by a bus, reincarnated to different world - ok now I will be strong (here barely MC introduction starts)". No plot-armor popping in every hard fight with miracle power-up friendship power. No harem-king ****.My very first review about book, don't want to spoil so all I can say is - It's worth your time. My second best webnovel here right after ISSTH.
