Very disappointed that ufffcufffcufffcPlague Doctor wasn’t picked, this light novel is from the same author (if my sources are correct) so I have high expectations that this could be a very great novel~ ?(Reviewed this before reading hope this doesn’t disappoint) ?????????????????????????????????
Decent start, needs more details and less action so early in the story. In my opinion, these “gifts” should be revealed slower and the character getting them should be more confused and seeking answers as to why he has these abilities all of a sudden. Also it should be more clear as to who is currently narrating in the story. We switch from the main character to another random person but there is no intro, it just goes from him to some random person. Also I’m several chapters in and wondering what kind of story this is? Is this a martial arts story, a love story? Where is this going? I’m adding to my library to read later but I’m currently unsure if I will read it all the way through. Perhaps....

Good Book. It features an op mc BUT he doesn’t know he is OP. This book seems to incorporate themes of fantasy(his bookstore is connected to other worlds), mystery(he doesn’t know yet that he is OP, we, the readers will read along to find out why he’s OP) and myth (gods and demons exist within his world). The author also seems to be rather respectful to foreigners, at worst, he has a neutral opinion.Only con is idk what the plot is. It seems like we are just following the mc’s ‘discovery’ (like i said he doesn’t know he is OP neither does he know about other worlds and gods, he’s basically in the dark but somehow connecting the worlds together.) of fantasy and sci-fi elements.
Overall, pretty terrible. If you like the idea of this novel, read “Scholar’s Advanced Technological System” instead. This novel unfortunately takes the idea of teaching and academics, and completely throws it out the window in order to focus more on “faceslapping” and chapters filled with praises about how intelligent the MC is. By like half way through at chapter 20, there was only like 2 or 3 instances where any information on what he was teaching was given. Every other instance was “after a few hours of teaching physics to X character …..” The characters are 1 dimensional, and the MC has the social intelligence of a xianxia young master who was thrown down a flight of stairs. Any other character is sorted into 2 groups based on if they like the MC or not. If they like the MC they have 0 personality, 30 IQ, and follow the MC around saying how awesome he is. If they don’t like the MC they have 0 personality, 20 IQ, and act arrogant so the MC can faceslap them into the dirt. Even this is done poorly however. Sadly, this is a typical D tier xianxia novel disguised as a novel about academics. Suggestion: avoid reading if you value your time.
I don’t know if this is just me, but I have trouble reading the novel. I find myself having to re-read sentences or paragraphs. The flow reading is messed up and the transitions between paragraphs are rough.
oh, this bul***** is still ongoing? a bul***** book where the mc can't even control his harem and just let one of them have her own harem but the mc ended up taking them all but those girls still in relationships? lol the funny thing is that, the author once repost this book but never fix that issue and the fact the even at chapter 800+ (where I stop reading this bul*****) still not solve is the most outrageous part.
The story is great if you liked overpowered mc's and quiet fast paced stories. Its just that this is not my cup of tea but overall w/out bias its okay
What I find the most interesting is the fact it's written first person which I find one of the hardest ways to write a story. I really love the concept and I hope the author keeps going with his perspective. This is a unique gem I think and feel this could go far. I def recommend it.
A brilliant and fascinating realistic fiction novel. The book is very captivating as it full of intrigues well planned out by the author. I am a fan of cultivation novels but I must say that when I found out about this book, I continued to read. It was smooth and entertaining as I was immersed in a world full of suspense. The book is amazing and there is no error which makes the book deeply interesting to read. So glad I got the link to this novel. Also, writer's english is awesome and excellent. Am a writer myself but I have to say that I would have to learn english from this writer. Smooth flows and good use of words. Good job author. I really appreciate your passion for this work. Don't stop writing and please give more updates. ? ? ♥
