This was a great book. It kept you wanting more and make you want to skip ahead to see if you are right about the next step. First book in a long time that wasn’t predictable!

having a system has nothing to do with being bad, is the same as saying that the isekai genre sucks just because most novels with this tag sucks, the problem is not the genre is the authors, whatever genre starts to become successful will gather a lot of authors that sucks really hard and make a lot of garbage novels for that genre, the system tag is just another victim, if you think about it the novels that have a system and it sucks usually have no reason to have a system, i mean they will usually put a system just for the sake of it and the numbers of the system will make no sense, meanwhile a novel that have a good reason to use a system usually will be a good novel, an example of this is the novel Ascension through skills
It got much better around ch 250.
Although it seems it is turning bad again at around 380.

Fair enough, I liked the first half but yeah I agree the second half was trash. Pacing was slow at first and i liked it but then author did that timeskip and just decided to start throwing power ups at the mc and speedrun the ending. Still tho, I liked the first half a lot so I am a bit biased.
