I’m not sure how I feel about human slaves that can only wear shirts their master gave them, and eat only when personally fed..? Theres no warm and fuzzy feeling with the social differences here. Aside from that I’m giving it a try. The two leads are clearly not fated mates.
really enjoyed the story line. Drags on a little bit, but all in all good book.

Coupled with war scenes and scenes of suspense, this book is a breath of fresh air. The characters are well portrayed especially the evil Lord Dimitri.
