I read this a long time ago. This is a great novel. Don't let the synopsis fool you this is not a modern setting. Honestly one of my favourites, I am eagerly waiting for this to be updated again.
The system of this novel may not be that interesting. It's a simple system that is similar to a game system in general.But what's interesting about this novel is not the system.A person from the cultivation world who reincarnated to earth then reincarnated again into the cultivation world through a game was clearly a new concept. At least I haven't read a novel with such a concept. This is two times reincarnation, in contrast to the novel of the same genre where mc only from earth then comes to the world of cultivation through a game.Of course, just that concept is still not enough to keep reading it.But the cultivation world background in this novel is also very interesting.As the author said; this is a novel with many legendary characters.Until chapter 45, now, there have been several legendary characters mentioned. And their story is really very interesting.Well, you will understand when you read the chapter that tells about Titania when she started the Eternal Light era. It's probably so exaggerated that you think she's mc, Lol. But that's what makes you want to keep reading it. And this character is made completely mysterious.But mc seems to know Titania's identity. But so far, his disciple was the most suspicious.As for the story, I thought it was quite comfortable to read. The plot may be fairly generic but it's so well written that it doesn't fall into a clichéd plot.I give 5 stars because I keep reading it. But since the view of this novel is increasing so fast, I think the others enjoyed the story as well.
One of the best clan cultivation stories I have seen in a very long time. The characters are mostly family members and so far none of the annoying cliches like face smacking have happened. Story has great potential and I will certainly continue reading it.
Review at 120 chapters: Overall, this novel is pretty good. The pacing of his power increases, the characters, and the other general things are nice. The biggest issue I'm having which is making me take this novel slow is that the MC has absolutely no real goal. I can't anything more because it will spoil it but, because of this point, it's makes many things lack intensity or depth of meaning. I'll keep reading because the novel is definitely enjoyable but I hope this changes soon enough.
At chapter 598. Lu ze persuades Lin Ling to cook an alien egg. And then proceeds to eat it. Eventually Nangong and her rival eat it too. A Chinese dude from past travelled into future and messing up their cuisine. Is this how pandemic is are started?Goddamm lot of nationalism. Also his dumb fu*ckerry. For every stupidest reaction, “Maybe because I’m handsome?” Or “what a joke! I’m gentleman”. I thought auth would leave at least Nangong alone. But nope, string along every women and maintain them as spare tire.

Hilarious. I wish the chapter length was longer, but you can't have everything. Not much typos or grammatical errors. His insistence on dating a 3000 year old lady, I'll admit, is SLIGHTLY disturbing, but eh. I do wish he'd start cultivating in a way that makes at least a bit of sense, but I guess he really doesn't have to if it's meant to be senseless or an anything goes type of deal. I like the systems' personality, but it would probably be odd if you weren't used to systems who's goals in life seems to be to mess with the MC. 100/100, would totally eat popcorn to it again. saw this on the list of winners from wpc and decided to check it outpretty generic weak to strong plot setup but has interesting charactersa lot is covered up and the author really likes to keep mysteriesoverall not bad, looks like things are getting exciting, pls post more
Fking trash novel, feel like mtl and ending suck
I very rarely write comments but I felt like I had to for this. This novel is one of the few original novels on Webnovel that is truly well written that I've come across and it goes beyond just that, the story, world, and characters are extremely interesting so far and have a lot of potential. Even translated novels on this site are mostly awful these days. After Lord of the Mysteries ended and Doomsday Wonderland and Kingdom's Bloodline stopped being translated the only other novels I've read on here are Embers Ad Infinitum and The Oracle Paths (Only other well-written original I've come across). Everything is just harems, wish-fulfillment and cookie-cutter plots these days, so this novel is a breath of fresh air. I sincerely hope the author will keep up with the story cause it may definitely become a favorite of mine.
A very interesting read for sure. Starts off slow and picks up some pace as you go. The story will definitely make you want to read more. There’s only 100 chapters so I cant say much on the overall world background but I’ hoping the author can pull through with something interesting and unique.
