Spoilers below as well as a brief analisis------_this novel feels like it is haphazardly written since the author starts introduce many interesting concepts as but never elaborate our go more in depth those points are just use to move the plot along. Like at one point it is stated that there are there two other continents as well as there being a certain mystery preventing them from being able to return. Also there seem to be hints that the main body of the asteroid is somewhere inside the city. Also the real world is the focus in several chapters and there is a buildup that they are planning something. In the end all this and more are left unanswered. The book ends right after they kill a dragon in a battle but everything else is forgotten even in the last chapter the author acknowledges some people but does not revel if the are dead our alive.Anyway The authors afternote reveled the reason the book ended like it does. It mostly being because they got to overwhelm by what they wanted to do. Since the book starts focusing on side characters and show that the mc is not the only focus but also show that the background characters can grow and change. This in the end lead the author to just not know what to do next. Since there original idea was to make a gritty tower defense novel, granted they accomplish it in a sense but leave a lot unanswered and acknowledged those points are talked about in the authors afterword with the following paragraph. ¨It's not that the world background and the plot are stuck and cannot continue. In the world background of the book, in addition to the Forgotten Lands, I also made some background settings on the East and West continents. The collision between players and aliens, such as undercover players Zongmen, entered the east and west continents to become high-level countries, and founded the country in the forgotten land, and started wars with the east and west continents, and even thought about another plane invasion at that time. As well them just feeling overwhelm its an ok book but will leave you wanting more.
This is one hell of a great nove, I can't wait for it to be lunched. It is similar to the devil's cage except that jason is more like a mix of Kieran and gluttony which you should have guessed from the title, they have the same leveling system except that jason get points when he eat monsters which he can use to power up his skills or learn new ones and he smells an attractive aroma when he is near dead monster body and if the meat of the monster isn't fresh he gets a lower number of points which like force him to kill them or be near the scene to maximize his benefits, oh and i forgot that he is basically immortal as long as he has enough points to heal himself. All right I will say no more you better pick this up since this is a gem

Trash! And not the common kind.....the unbelievably slow paced rubbish where all efforts for strong worldbuilding and character growth r ruined by the unnecessary repetitive descriptions, extremely childish chapter titles and the mc's impulse to belittle his opponents as 'trash' every ten chapters when he himself is no stronger, the level system is excruciatingly non existent and weak, the past memories serve almost no role in impacting his thinking but help the author lengthen his writing where when one chapter holds enough story progress as could easily be summed up in a single paragraph, thick headed musle brained mc fueled only by his emotions and convenient and timely 'blood thirst' that just happens to scare anyone he comes across even if the enemies weaker by a level outnumber him thousand to one...story feels as if constantly being made up as one goes along with new terms thrown in when needed 'power of order', 'power of chaos', 'praise to this, praise to that', random skills like 'sunlit spear' with no connection to the mc's previous actions or skills...just to distract from the obvious fact that author has no solid story in mind, reflected by mc's inability to plan a single step ahead, tbh author strays from the cliches of fantasy action novels and the side characters arent mindless puppets...tho in hindsight had the author followed such cliches....this work could have escaped its fate of being below average....feels like sth a 10 yr old would write if he had memorized a thesaurus and was trying to exceed some word limit. Reading this is a complete headache.Translation is good tho.
not good or bad pretty average. I'd keep reading but spending money on this novel isnt really worth it. the dialogue feels stinted and not very fluid. some grammatical errors but they dont really affect much but again if ur gonna pay for a novel it shouldn't have those issues

i liked this novel alot. nowadays there are not many authors who write ruthless and cold MC's. everyone is trying to create a hero or a heaven's favorite. personally i like aloof, cold and decisive MC's much more. his innate abilities and powers are also interesting. the world building is like any other cultivation world where there are rankings of sects, kingdoms and also even higher level of powerful beings than normal people knows. the only thing i dont like is the huge fillers everywhere. even if two people are talking, you will find two three paragraphs of fillers/explanations for every sentence they speak. alot of filler in between conversations. in full whole chapters two persons will only speak two lines while anything else will be filler explanation. ?u200d♂️. thats why 4.8....for writing its 4 for everything else its 5 stars.
Although it has some grammer mistakes and inconsistencies with keeping the characters gender the same I like the story and development. Worth the read
