It seems the translator has a penchant for sad stories, but I'm in the mood for something happier right now, hehe. Anyway, while browsing through their translations, this is my third one. I can't wrap my head around why they didn't chase after their first love despite numerous encounters; it's just confusing, you know? *shrug*

Perhaps the one who discovered a new love and tied the knot first believes she isn't worth the effort of a long-distance relationship. That could be a reason behind their actions.
If you want nice novel to read try ORV and lord of the mystery. Those are on top of the ranking for a reason
It is a well written novel with obvious planning, however, it has a tragic tone and a sense of isolation /loneliness that brought me mild depression to read. It speaks to how good the novel is at what it was set out to do, and that is also the reason why I can't continue reading it.

Feng Tianlan should make an oath too, if someone harmed Si Mobai she should take the same pained like Si Mobai made an oath for her! Such muddled head FL huh! I want to yelled Baka! Baka! to her. This happened because writer allowed Si Mobai to spoiled her too much. You know between lover, who love their partner more will be lost more but it doesn't matter if you have an ability to control the situation. Lan'er please don't go to Xi Jin, I begged you here as reader...please don't break Mobai heart!!!??? or you will crushed mine too???
