Overall an interesting story with some intriguing ideas but very poorly executed, aside from massive time skips, there is barely any interaction between characters, 0 development, world building completely tossed out the window, in 60+ chapters not more than 10 sentences have been spoken between characters, there is no use of the system, no explanation about skills, no quests, it doesn't even feel like a game world(even if it looks like later it will merge with the real world) everything seems super rushed and for the love of god, the chapters are super short too. I enjoy the story somewhat as i find the plot interesting but thats all, an interesting plot and a huge potential wasted.

I need to talk about Chang Jinhua because THIS woman is everything. She's nearly forty, a widow who raised her son alone, and she still gets that girlish timidity around her own mother. The scene where she says 'Mother, don't cry, my life isn't hard' while her own eyes redden — I literally had to pause and breathe. But then watch how she transforms the second Zhang Xiaoyu opens his mouth. One minute she's this gentle, restrained widow who can't even visit her own mother, and the next she's grabbing people by the arm and threatening to drag them to their in-laws. The shift is so sudden and so powerful because it comes from pure, unfiltered love for Meng Wan. She's protecting her son's future husband with her whole body. And Meng Wan's reaction to all of this — he's so tender about it. He notices the silver coins, pretends not to see them, carries them inside and places them at her feet quietly. He tugs at her arm to let Zhang Xiaoyu go because he understands the consequences of escalating further. These two have this incredible unspoken understanding. The domestic violence subplot added this heavy, aching layer too. Meng Wan hearing the suppressed cries next door and realizing it's not affection — it's abuse. The line 'The one who hits remains silent, while the one who is hit endures it in a low voice' is so devastating. And then his nightmare about that monster with an infant's body and Song Tingzhou's face calling him 'Mommy' — what the ACTUAL hell. I need answers. The emotional whiplash from this chapter is unreal.

Honestly it's disappointing,as simple as that.And even worse there are a lot of inflated reviews as well.The ~75 chapters are "introductory" because they are filled with a lot of pointless drama and cliches just for the sake it.The characters are acting just for the sake of not being props,even if they act without reason or sense.The MC is plain stupid with kind of no redeemable qualities but atleast he gets some character development so it's kinda fine I guess,but still not likeable.I've lost patience with the novel after the author made a girl simply undress in front of the MC for no reason at all and then her acting shy.This novel follows no logic and is basically just a reference fiesta and I can't really recommend it.Maybe it gets better after ~120 chapters but I doubt it,maybe only the MC gets a bit better because I still believe most of the other characters will still behave like some idiots
Lol....This story feels like a melodramatic drama where you can easily predict future instances, not innovative indeed...I feel the MC is a little retarded where he's taking the truth in amusement while her disciple keep on using dildo and vibrators for her sexual gratification...She seems to trodding on hentai path without MC's knowledge..(then what's your use since I can only see MC just indulging in sexual acts)Apart from that I don't know whether MC gonna have any breakthroughs or just playing nanny to those disciples cause whole idea was to recruit potential candidates who can reach immortality and guide them while aiming for higher breakthroughs, but here he's just playing around the mortality crap while being an immortal till now and untill now character growth is worst for me...
