I usually like to read stories where MLs live in regret or remorse for being an ass but 800 chapters later the FL still doesn't have a spine and ML has not regretted or suffered in the tiniest

Horrible, story started great but now the author is not updating as needed, the chapters are short, multiple chapters to go over the same timeframe, and it will cost you HUNDREDS to read this book. Don’t do it.
