Decent book, ending is rushed and not all plot points are finished and you are left with some questions, but it's a satisfying read nonetheless.

I will say the first 150 chapters, Kahn was bipolar and acted differently everything. After a major plot point he gets development and he improves. But the next 30 chapters are also the foundation for the next arc. So about 180 chapters.
translation is fine all along. and thats a plus because it gets rather phylosophical later on. If i can give you a suggestion, take it slow, you cant speedrun this,at times it may get very boring(that may also be because i am rereading). You may be tempted to skip chapters or pharagraphs but dont do it, just take a break, the excessively long descriptions and details are a big part of this novel and what makes it different than random slop

Even if it was a norm for children to be wed early in early china; the descriptions used by this author is truly not apt. and appears very deviant. Should have at least adjusted the ages to pre-teens for us to barely stomach such descriptions. At this point, I'm just so disgusted by this and recommend everyone who's also sensitive to such things to stop reading this.Also, whoever the translators are; please add Trigger Warnings to this story.
So far really interesting and intriguing love the development of the story but the mc is kinda stupid hopefully he will get better. The grammar is good but there are some different names in different places. Still worth a read
