A story of someone rising from nothing to the top.
It's been done before, but this is a unique take on it.
A world full of gods and people able to manipulate reality itself is a daunting one, yet the protagonist is still intent on using what little he has to rise in it.
This is not a light story, it is definitely on the darker side; you'll learn that quickly when reading. This world is unforgiving for the protagonist, and we ge tto witness him overcome these obstacles in order to do what the title proclaims: rise from rags to godhood.
Check this one out if you like progression fantasy, magical systems, stories with a divinity, and even darkness.
140 character is too long I am so lazy to write a review that long. Can I just write only 100? Well look like I can't maybe just maybe 139 okay.
I have noticed the chapters are being deleted and recreated several times while also being formated similar to a story on mtl nation. This work is being stolen and written with different choices and names.
The mc is very nice. I really like this novel. is in hiatus?
the novel is pretty good so far, it's well written, I like the story a lot, nothing is rushed and it's not too slow imo, I saw some people telling it became worse recently but I just can't agree at all, we still discover new things and the reaping/raiding concept seems pretty interesting too. it's good that the relationship with the queen is not rushed, I mean it's more realistic like that, she doesn't seems to be interested in him in any way and that would be disappointing to see her harbor romantic feeling so quickly when it starts from 0. I' m still at chapter 75 but ig we will see her "take notice" of him after this quick "Arc" finish. Anyway all of that to say that is one of my favorite novel and I hope the author continue like that and don't drop it, that would be frustrating to see such a good work stop.

Interesting concept and premise. Author did a good job on the lore. Though there are few chapters, this just seems the start to wonderful adventures of Augustine and his reaper wife, Azrael. The character designing is done well by the author. We have a sassy reaper wife, a funny mc, an old wholesome couple and let's not talk about Natalus, he's probably busy trying to save his cat from Azrael. xDThe world building is simple and precise, just like how I prefer. Goodjob on that. Though very few things are known, I am looking forward to Augustine's adventure to Elysium, netherworld and the mortal world.Update stability is good, the development of the story is neither too fast nor too slow and the writing quality is good. Well done. (:I wish you well for this book, author, and I am really looking forward to future chapters ╰( ・ ᗜ ・ )➝
I know I shouldn't judge this one early, but it lacks appeals on me.No offense on this, although I'm only at chapter 6, I dont want to read the rest of the story. It's not my cup of tea.
Overall it's pretty good! It can drag in some parts and feels like info is being dumped on us at the beginning, but it's got a lot of potential. Also, be careful that you don't switch tenses mid-sentence (past to present). You don't do it often, but it sticks out when you do.
The novel has been picked up again by an independent translator. Check it out on novelupdates.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm really enjoying this story!! The characters are well developed and detailed, you get a strong impression of each person. The author is amazing with the details even when it comes to the environment that the characters are in, to the point you can really get a solid image of where they are and what's happening around them. You get submerged into the story and can't stop reading. Can't wait to see how the group evolves and how far they can go with their talent! Thanks for the great story!!!!
