It was a decent one for a couple of hundred chapters. One would have expected a weird sect like that of MC where all his disciples are his lovers without exception given the title, but what was really weird is that he did not have a single lover before becoming an immortal and now he almost behaves as a *** maniac. Ignoring all this, the story was a light and enjoyable read at the start.Then author starting writing another book and updates to this one became slow as a snail. So I skipped reading for a few months and came back to it. The latest chapters (200-240) have the first so-called "war" supposedly orchestrated by the MC. Long planning, execution running into nearly 40 chapters. The end result was that couple of (irrelevant) underlings of the main characters were killed, MC sneak attacked to kill a few of the competitors of his disciples who have been more-or-less engaged in a fair competition, and thousands/millions of bystander humans killed.I had thought that this whole scheme was to somehow kill the main perpetrators and beast traitors, but the above mentioned end result was perfectly in accordance with MC's plans. So MC managed to kill a couple of characters who are largely irrelevant, who were weaker than MC anyway and who could have been killed by some planned ambushes. Oh, and even the son of one of the main perpetrators was not killed because apparently it would bring a lot of trouble. So overall MC thought of this brilliant idea of orchestrating a huge war just to sneak attack these useless characters, killing thousands/millions of "ant mortals" in the process and even endangering his other body, wife and child. Go figure.
Is he a genius mage or just a time traveler? Even he doesn't know how some things were done at first in the past. The grammar is horrid, but not something I can't read past and ignore. The Characters have moments of good design that lead to stereo type confrontations that end way too quickly, but hey, at least I don't have to worry about the MC or anyone else dying off...It's not a bad story, I'm at chapter 67 while writing this, and I'll probably continue with this story. It's relaxing and some of the ways to get out of difficulties I've yet to see in other books, so I'll stick around and see where this author takes this.
This book is a very interesting read. It takes a lot of skills from other things and it changes to interact with his world. It has to be one of the top of the 5 new trial reads.
The author tries to be funny and just comes off as silly. I feel like this is along the lines of grade school comedy, like oh he stepped in poop hahaha. Im at around chapter 220, and the comedy just kills this novel.
i can give cause meet the expectations of tge genre. .but even though dual cultivation novel but flirting with many women together is looking bad for character ...other dual cultivation novel do have same thing but popular one do this type more greatly. ..i think you should give more time in developing many women together more refinely ....but i have to say still pretty awesome work
MC is a forever child and is always protected by someone no matter how much he cultivates and because of this MC maintains his no killing policy because no one would come back to take revenge on him without dealing with his protectors this kept on going till 900+ chapters where he lost his protection and immediately starts killing monsters but lucky enough to not encounter any human who are willing to fight it out with him till death.MC lacks forethought though it's said he has higher IQ but it's hardly shown in in his thought process. This novel is different in a sense you're a story of a MC with child mentality though old enough to have his own grandsons.

I expected a more serious soldier novel.. but this reads somewhat like JP army novel. Girls in army, parents sending their sheltered flowers err.. kids as if on vacational camp instead to soldier academy. And the soldier sis tells these kids that she sent out their parents so that they don't see the harsher environment that they use to train them... i mean, why is it even a secret. And then they proceed to get instructed as to how to.. fold quilts hahaha this novel isn't for me

This novel is on the same league as other paid novels with in-depth character, world and background development, if this gets more in to action hopefully, it will be awesome! i suggest give it ago for the next 5 chapters!
I have read countless novels and have never rated one but this one is way too good for me to not rate it. I love the slow yet fast and detailed pace. It is an amazing novel and highly recommend it. Incredible job author!
