The mocking faces of Jiang Ting and that mother-daughter duo still lingering in Jiang Wan's mind as she leaves. The contrast between that suffocating environment and the Gu mansion is so sharp you could cut it with a knife. The worldbuilding here isn't about elaborate fantasy systems, it's about making every room, every object, every outfit feel like it exists in a real, breathing world.
