He closed his eyes to gain control of the situation. But he just can't. He was burning with anger now, his face still stinging with the pain she just delivered through the powerful slap.
I hugged myself tighter and ignored the cold air blowing on me and just decided to enjoy the white puffy snow covering the once green grass that once has little diamonds all over it whenever wet. Now its the snow turn to shine bright and twinkle catching everyone eyes. I love christmas.
He took glayz on me and said ," if you do that then I'll do what you can't imagine in your dream ". My heartbeat got faster ,then what, what he'll do now.
"Did it belong to someone close to you?" she continued.
Smalls unidentifiable creatures slithered across the selves, pausing to watch them with their big eyes as they passed. As they neared the center of the room, a sitting area came into view. Two large chairs occupied the space. Covering the floor was a replica of the map given to Lily. In one of the large chairs sat an old man with white hair. His eyes were a reddish yellow that could be barely seen under his bushy eyebrows.
"I'll be staying at Sofia's until leaving, don't you dare try to contact either of us in the meantime.
"So do we pressure the embassy?"
"Yes Mr. and Mrs. Mander. Can I take Riley around with me to see you're beautiful hidden kingdom and make her dreams of being a princess a reality?" I ask.
Vale shifted nervously to a crouched position. He'd been waiting for a few hours now for what could be his death and just a few minutes ago the first high pitched yips followed by a lower pitched howl had filtered through the forest. This meant a pack of Dirge wolves was close which sent his already taut nerves buzzing throughout his body. He could no longer sit, in fact if not for the slight reassurance of the vines he knew were there and that he wasn't quite sure which direction the wolves would enter the clearing from he'd have already climbed up into one of the trees. Unfortunately his fear that he'd run straight into danger if he made a move too early kept him next to the fire.
