mtl novdl. more than typical racism even for a chinese mtl novel. characters are very samey. only a little variation except one greedy girl. world is kimda neat, but the rest is at best mediocre.
I'm hoping this gets chosen to be released into the voting pool soon! It's very interesting. I'm finding that I'm really liking these types of novels where they combine game with real life, it's definitely new and intriguing for me. Sadly I ran out of fast passes right before the very last chapter, so I gotta wait for tomorrow to finish chapter 60 lol.
I am not sure about the whole story, but the game definitely sucks. I am shocked that people even play it. This game is like Pay To Win taken to extreme. Just for the sake of reference. 1 Credit is around 1 Yuan. It requires 3 credits for a bullet. So 1 yuan is around 0.14 dollars. So basically 2 bullets for a dollar. Wtf? Let's talk about this from a machine gun player's POV. I am taking a rather popular machine gun, M4 carbine. It shoots around 700-900 rounds/min. That's almost 400 dollars for a minute of shooting.To put it in perspective for people who don't live in US and have no idea about how much is 500 dollars. A **4 Pro 1 TB costs $367A Nitendo Switch is around $200An iPhone XS is around $1000. That's like 3 minute of shooting. And this is just for the common bullets. He talks about bullets worth 5 credits, 30 credits and god knows what. Plus everything there costs. And how the author has described the game mechanics, a common player has no chance of even passing lvl 10, unless he's with some serious pay to win player. This is not pay to win, but pay to play. Anyway, sorry for the rant. This just really makes me question that has the author ever player a mmorpg or mmo game?Anyway that's it.
I couldn’t bear it. I forced myself to read as far as possible because of the author and other reviews’ assurance that everything would be everything would be explained around ch 80 but i could barely make it to ch 43. I just hate janus (the system) with a passion. I liked most of everything else (the only female interaction that i liked was the stab victim and ive only seen her once so far). And the male characters also dont seem to be treated well. But the concept seemed extremely interesting and i was curious to see what the true story behind what happened was. I really really wanted to reach the part where everyone says it gets good but I practically had to force most the chapters down. If i have to struggle through 80 chapters just to get to the good part then i cant say this is a particularly attractive novel.So i have to drop it. Maybe someone with more perseverance and willpower will make it through and reach the goal, that person might actually find a really good story at the end of that road. Unluckily that wont be me.

the start is nice and steady, while some encounters are a little bit to coincidentally. I had high hopes for the first dungeon, but using more than 50 chapters just for one dungeon/fight and scaling the MCs responsibility through the roof at the end...nope, sorry without me
One of the best stories I have ever read and it has an incredible in-depth character and world building that makes the world seem full of life and interesting. The story is not too fast paced or slow, been just right. The character and story design is amazing in the way that nothing seems out of place or appears suddenly. Everything is introduced or explained well and have a solid background of who and what they. It feels like everything in linked but there is no confusion in how or why. One of the best examples of story telling in ever penned into a novel.Thank you author and translators for bringing this for us to read.
After reading 60 chapters, the story has really intrigued me. I usually don't give 5 stars to story development but this one is a refreshment after all the xianxia I've read on this site.This story is much more practical and relatable as strength doesn't solve all the problems here, the MC uses tactics since he is physically a normal person. There's fair bit of politics involved since he is the son in law of an earl whose enemies want to remove him from power. There are moments that might make you stressed about what he will do, at the same time the story has funny elements and is not all time stressful. I suggest you give it a try as I'm sure most people will enjoy this read.
i read all the 40 ch so far, so far i love it it has unique vibe, the mc is intersting and his pets are so funny remind of lord fifth give it a try u wont regret it.
Upon reading the synopsis I immediately added this to my library. They said the story was good and I think so also. I will definitely give this story a shot who knows maybe I found a gem.

WTF is going on with the translator? Sorry, but if you have internal problems, at least *COMMUNICATE* with the readers instead of f***ing us all over like this. The novel is almost unreadable in the later story with so many chapter skips.
