Holy shít, this novel is great! Of course, nothing is perfect (and that's why I'm giving it just over 4 stars) but this book is damn close. I suppose I'll write a fully-fledged review, so here we go! :Writing quality-I haven't really noticed anything wrong with it. If there's typos, or grammatical errors, I certainly haven't seen them but if I'm honest, I'm not a very observant person. ¯_(ツ)_/¯The story also flows nicely, and it's written quite well. Not to mention the humour in this novel is right up my alley, as in my opinion the only thing funnier than dark humor is straightforward, trying-to-be-serious-and-not-at-the-same-time humour. I dunno how it works, but it does, and I think I've laughed at almost every single chapter. I've also cried, and have been left speechless on many occasions. It's been a héll of a ride so far, that's for sure!Story development-Now, this is an area that I did have one or two minor problems with. We were warned that there was no particular plan for this novel, but oh man, sometimes I felt that the story could be going anywhere. Of course, it isn't cliché, and that's wonderful (beyond wonderful, actually. It's refreshing) but I just felt like some things in the novel just didn't matter as they were arbitrarily decided and came out of nowhere sometimes- and that feeling of detachment isn't so wonderful.Other than that... it's been fantastic so far! Character design-Oh man, where do I start? I think Bob is one of the best MC's I've ever read about. He's an idiot with a chicken, a naive, poor, hapless, gullible, but loveable idiot with a chicken. If I was Christian, I would say 'God help his soul', but I'm not, so, yeah...And it's not only Bob and his chicken (at this point, they're a package deal- it doesn't feel right to mention one without the other), I think I've actually liked every single character that has been introduced thus far (ch 69, and there have been quite a few characters!) and that's only happened at most 4/5 times in the 7 or so years I've been reading all sorts of novels... Updating stability-Well, I've read all the chapters that were already here, so I can't say anything about the updating stability. There did seem to be a couple of bumps based off of the 'author's thoughts' bits, so I had to deduct one star of this category for that. World background-Ahh, what can I say... It's been slowly but steadily revealed as we go along, in a rather smooth way might I add. The place names have been hilarious, much like the rest of the story, and somehow the author has made everything plausible and detailed. To sum it up, I don't think I'll ever be able to type enough praise for this novel, so I'll try and condense all of it into one thumbs-up emoji: ?(I hope you can see all the sincerity. ?)I'm looking forward to see how this story, the characters and the world itself develop, and while I'm waiting for a fúck-ton of chapters to be released, I'll see if the author's written anything else!
Okay, I need to talk about Zhang Yunqi because honestly this is the funniest character twist in the entire chapter. This girl was murdered by her own uncle, right? And instead of seeking revenge or haunting him properly, she's been secretly cleaning Qin Su's apartment. Cleaning. Like a spectral maid. I laughed out loud when Qin Su found the place spotless and Zhang Ming was just standing there confused. But here's what actually got me — when Zhang Ming shows up at the door, Zhang Yunqi is glaring at him with pure hatred from somewhere in the apartment. She hasn't forgotten. She's just biding her time. Qin Su tells her directly: once your soul becomes more solid, you'll be able to enter his dreams. There are plenty of ways to make his life worse than death. This is such a specific kind of justice, and I love that Qin Su isn't telling her to forgive or move on. She's telling her to be smart about it. The relationship between Qin Su and Zhang Yunqi is built on this weird mutual protection thing. Qin Su took her in as a disciple, and Zhang Yunqi repays her by doing chores. It's not the typical master-disciple dynamic at all. It's more like roommates who happen to be alive and dead. And the fact that Zhang Ming literally cannot figure out what's happening in his own building? Perfect comedy.
I must say I'm one of those people who vote for books without even looking at them just so I can get it stones.But why does everyone have the novel so bad!?!? I perfectly understand everyone has their panties in a wod because this novel was picked before another one and I have also been on the receiving end of this, but what does that have to do with the book? Smh. Sometimes I feel quidian is better disabling the Review section cause 9/10 people don’t even use it to leave a TRUE review not just their salty comments.

I quit this novel after few hundreds of chapters...in the beginning it was quite nice but more into the story the author for sure think that description of boobs is more important than description of fight...not sure if others wuxia novels are horny like this one but i move on to other novel now and quite satisfied with God of Slaughter. It was bit echi but not much distract story revolution like this one. Anyway, thanks for all these while.

One of a kind novel I read so far, it kinda like the mixture of Fullmetal Panic + Gintama and its not harem but kinda like have the possibility of becoming one. My point being.... I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!
For trial:I review writing like translation.Story in trial look good. But only few first chapters, are of some quality translationAfter chapter 6 (missing chapter) is only MTL translation. I don't understand how can webnovel want for us to pay for unlockicking further chapters(20-40) with this quality?Book look good but nobody will select it because stupid MTL translation and book will probably fall to oblivion and that will be pity, because book look interesting.If book can gain quality translator, then book can be gem. There currently is not many books with villain (neutral/good/ bad - hard to describe) character.But because of translation I can only give really bad review.

Cool story but kind of complicated. It should already be finished. I skipped some chapters because it got boring and the more I skipped the less I understood what was going on. It is not bad but there could be many events that could be shorter.
