The story made me read it fast because it keeps on adding my curiosity. So I didn't bother looking for grammar and spelling errors. Stability of updates: excellent. 5 CH now in a period of 5-6 days?Story development: the MC just started to develop his abilities, couldn't say more since it's only starting. Character design: like what some people on the comment said, mc is somehow like deku. A bullied kid>got powers>his bully came with him on the academy>they will become enemies. Fun Prediction: they're going to be friends in the future? ??I still like the MC tho, got a good impression of him. I like that he's into inventing. The vibes he gave me is kinda like deku of hero academia/ a bit Dean of dark king / and a bit Edward elric?World background: the world after apocalypse + steam punk era. The only thing wrong with this story is the translation got cancelled. This is easily one of the best stories I have read. It makes 99.9% of the stories on here look like hot trash.

I need to talk about how the author structures this. We start with a nightclub scene—high tension, action, Fu Zheng saves Zhang Beilu, done. Then we cut to Xu Yueyao in her new apartment, going through the original owner's stuff. And then BOOM, the diary entries. "I'm so hungry today. My aunt was criticizing me again for eating too much." These are so sparse, so understated, and they wreck me every time. The author doesn't dramatize it. The original owner just... writes it down. No crying in the diary, no big emotional declarations. Just a girl trying to survive by skipping dinners so she can keep studying. And then the pacing shifts again—we go from this quiet, intimate diary reading to the next day, Zhang Beilu calling to meet at a dessert shop, casual conversation, then IMMEDIATELY into the university entrance with Fu Xiao Si's sports car screeching in. The transition from the warm, slow dessert shop scene to the high-stakes classroom confrontation is jarring in the best way. It's like the book is saying: okay, catch your breath, now HERE'S WHERE EVERYTHING EXPLODES. The bet with Gao Yuyan—"run naked across the sports field"—that's the chapter's climax, and it ends with Xu Yueyao internally panicking because she has to actually make Zhan Feng show up. The author leaves us right at the edge of whether she'll pull this off or completely implode. And then Fu Xiao Si walks in at the end. I had to immediately open the next chapter. No hesitation.
