I don't know what it looks like next, but the beginning looks painfully similar to the Supreme Magus, except for a few small changes (like the food-stealing brother being adopted instead of legitimate and magic being less common) in a different world, basically took 90% of what was good in the story and replaced it with bad parts. Sorry, it sounds too negative, but you can tell how I felt reading nearly 50 chapters of this work. Note: I don't know if this qualifies as a spoiler, so I'm putting this just in case. I'm also reading on Google Translator, so I won't be able to identify the quality of the writing, nor do I plan to follow up to see if I meet the post frequency, so I put 3 stars on both to be considered on average.
I am looking forward for this Novel's success.I also feel that this Novel has deep conspiracy hidden inside it.So, to unveil this mystery, we have to read this.Hmmmmm, Lets go read this novel guys. ???
Read up to chapter 6. My thoughts are thus:Quality: 5/5. Pretty easy rating to give, the writing and editing quality is superb. Not a jot or a title out of place.Development: 3/5. Not to say that it isn't interesting, but there's a lot, and I mean, A LOT, of exposition and "telling" as opposed to "showing
well, its pretty good novel and we should at least have raw name..............................................................................................................................................................................................
Of all the novels in my back log that I've read so far, this one has the least amount of writing errors and the most interesting story:......

Only five chapters have been released right now but I'm already liking it. Adding it in my library hoping the author's not dropping the novel.
Author, I'm going to be totally honest in this review (Until Chapter 30). About the story: It's interesting. The classic back in time with valuable information, added to the VR theme. How did the protagonist go back in time? I have no idea. There wasn't any hint that he had a title, item, or anything like that that made it possible. I don't know if there will be an explanation in the future. There is little (almost no information) about the events of the world and how everything got to the point where humanity is. All I know is what's in the synopsis. There was no detailed explanation while reading. For me this hinders the immersion in the work. The VR world is very interesting, seemingly gigantic, with the potential to be really captivating when more elements are inserted into the story. Apparently Jake won't be a nice protagonist who will forgive people who want to make his life difficult. I believe he will be ruthless with enemies and I believe he will take good care of those he cares about. Now I'm going to talk about the problems... I'm going to start by talking about the problem that has irritated me the most so far. 1st Character details: The author has a big problem in this area. When I read I feel that all people are walking mannequins. I don't know what the protagonist family looks like! This is serious. When an attendant appears "A pretty attendant". When Jake meets the Queen, the most beautiful woman in the kingdom, "Jake turned to see a perfect woman". When he meets Myriad Arrow, a important character "Tall over six feet, but with a slender and athletic build"... Bro, the eyes, the skin, the face... I want details. What color is the hair? Is it long or short hair? Straight or curly hair? Details! At least for the important characters in the story. Wait... What does the protagonist look like?! 2nd short chapters: That's my opinion. I believe the chapters need to be between 25~50% longer. Reading ends very quickly. It will also be good to enrich the story with details, interactions and thoughts from the protagonist and secondary characters when necessary.3rd Depth of the protagonist's relationship with important people: I found the mc's interaction with his family very shallow. I don't know what they're thinking, what they're feeling, what they like and don't like, what they think of Jake, what Jake thinks of them... I hope the mc's interactions with his family improve and that Jake can have a good relationship with future important characters.I hope you can consider this review and I hope it has helped you in some way to improve your story. Keep up the good work.
10,000 Years In A Cultivation Sect: I Obtained A Powerful Technique From The Start is a story about a senior brother with a system, and a junior sister who went back in time after dying.I have to admit, I really enjoyed this novel at the start. It was a interesting slice of life romance novel, however the story quickly went awry from there.First off, the translation quality is quite poor. The first letter of many sentences are cut off, and sometimes words are entirely. There are countless mistakes throughout, but at the very least it's readable and isn't MTL. (3/5 stars)The story development isn't that great. As previously mentioned, the story is about a senior brother with a system, and a junior sister who regressed. The senior brother's (Jiang Ming) system, allows him to gain various rewards for doing "ordinary" things. The start of the novel is pretty good, it reads like a cultivation slice of life novel with a slow romance. This rapidly changes. The main character constantly kills people in the dark for his junior sister. (After she somehow offends someone or gets too powerful) This, in turn, causes even more people to attack the main character. I am not even joking, but it even causes a war. It's downright silly. At this point, it's devolved into a story about a overpowered Xianxia character fighting anything that moves. Not to mention, the pacing is tremendously awful. Story goes from cute slice of life romance novel to world war 3 in less than 100 chapters, and they are already introducing different worlds. There are also a few plot holes in the novel. For example, the main character obtains a "technique" that allows him to see people's information, and some secrets as well, as long as he knows their name. So, you would expect him to figure out that his junior sister has time traveled, however as of chapter 149, this hasn't happened. (2/5 stars)Moving onto the character design. Main character still feels like a blank canvas to me personally. He hasn't changed from the beginning. He is exceedingly generic, to the point I can't pinpoint any unique personality traits. The junior is sister is generic as well, the only personality trait she has is that she is protective of her senior brother. As for the romance? I'm not sure. They randomly went from a pseudo-sibling relationship, to a romantic/sexual one, and I have zero idea what the turning point was. Most characters are rather one dimensional, but at least this novel has more variety than other cultivation novels. (2/5 stars)World background is below average. World feels exceedingly small when only a few regions are vaguely described. I feel like the universe is more talked about than the planet the main character is on, which is rather weird. (2/5 stars)Overall, novel isn't paced well, and the author seemingly went from slice-of-life to action novel, and it's very obvious when you read the novel. Everything regarding the novel is rather sub-par, more effort was needed in all aspects.I think this novel would've been way better if the author simply kept it as a slice-of-life novel and focused on the romance and world-building, but that's just my opinion.
i will just talk about the translatorswith the Translator from chapter 1 to 317:Translator: Exodus Tales:perfect translation, smooth, fun to read. The Translator from chapter 318 to the end:Translator: 549690339 (whats wrong with that name ?? is that a phone number?? xD):Translator is a big word that he is not fit to be called that because he didn't translate anything.then is he editor??? hmmm no he is unworthy to be called thatthen what is he? he is MTL Spice thrower (mtl translation but little little bit better) that's all.its sad to see one of Lin Fan stories fall because of translations :(
The story is still at its infant stage, the characters are still developing. Unlike typical novel where mc starts to take chance or luck encounters of the novel's mc ,the mc is walking his own path. Though not much is introduced in the the initial chapters, the detailed development of mc power is shown. So, I am expecting more from future chapters. I will leave with 5 star for now. Looking fordward to future chapters.
Volume 2 is done! The second volume for the book is done and as stated before, its main areas of progress were world expansion and greater stakes for the MC. The plot isn’t moving that much in this volume and that is by design. The setup of the villains, races and organisations in the world is Aigas was the aim and Volume 3 will be packed with plot and more adventures as well as bizarre and unique movements to explore. All the plot threads that seem scattered will be coming together. I hope you stick around for the journey!
