Any update pls
Why is she having so much prejudice on Dongfang Yu? Calling him useless and idles around and womanizer. As if she is very useful herself. She is not any better. In fact she is worse. She has a bad attitude. She knows how it feels to be ridiculed and mocked and yet she does the same to other people. Now i know why she suffers a lot. Aside from her being stupid, weak, indecisive, spineless, brainless, and the list goes on.... this is the most ridiculous story. Dont read it. The FL and male lead are all characters poorly constructed from a mind of an 8 yr old. If i’d rate this im giving it 2/10. The FL character is not good at all.
overall, this story is an intriguing one, the writing is top notch although, still needs a bit of improvement, still it's a wonderful book . Good job author!
I LOVED THE STORY. THERE ARE SOME ERRORS IN GRAMMER, IMPROVE IT THEN THE STORY WILL ALSO BECOME GREAT.THE REASON I GAVE 4.8 STARTS IS INCREASE WORD COUNT THEN I WILL EDIT THE REVIEW
I kinda enyojed the story. Its true that it was a bit too slow paced but still i endure it and read till chap 365 but i couldnt continue. MC personality is something i dont dislike except of him being to discrete for too long but his simp side is something i could not accept anymore. At first it was ok but as chaps went by its increased more and more to the point chap 365 was my limit before puking so i had to stop. Still if you are okey with this 2 points, the story is enjoyable over all
author pls dont drop this this one of the most interesting novels i read and i hope you are getting better beacause you are starting to beacome the number 1
SO SO GOOD!!!
I cannot emphasize how fantastic this story really is, honestly. This story has practically anything I'd ever ask for: a badass protagonist who happens to be female (and does not somehow gain a selective harem even if their personality is kinda ****), great world building- although it should be noted that this story is one of my first Chinese webnovels, so perhaps it is actually not so original. I would still love it anyway!- and a good mix of cuteness! It's interesting to imagine that small 6 year old children are fighting each other with martial arts...
Ling Lan is probably one of my favorite protagonists ever. She's, well, a she. But this web novel has some of my favorite genres that are often prone to having a typical Gary Stu character leading it. It's action packed and absolutely thrilling. I cannot wait when for the male lead of this story appears so that I can get a good dose of romance too! Ling Lan by herself is already great, and even without a romantic aspect this novel would be just as good. Ling Lan's personality makes me sigh with relief, because she is actually quite calculative and calm in most aspects. Of course, she is older than her peers, but that certainly doesn't lessen her. I've read some other Chinese webnovels, but I find that female protagonists seem to often be a cutout replica of each other: black-bellied, cold-hearted, kind of an ass, but sOooO sTrOng anD cOoL! *note my mild sarcasm towards the end* I do like strong leads, but sometimes I feel like the leads are somehow blessed with incredible cheat knowledge from their previous life or something. Ling Lan? She spent her previous life reading manga and whatnot! She barely has any previous knowledge, besides the fact that she is basically a grown *****. She does have Little Four, but a lot of Mary Sues seem to have insane contracted beasts that might have exceeding powers. Little Four is definitely still a cheat-like existence though.
The translation quality is great, and we get pretty much 7 translations a week! I just wish I could read Chinese though because I'd probably finish it immediately~
After reading many werewolves and/or system novels, I decided to give this one as my first review. I've read most of the existing reviews and decided to give my 2 cents.
Writing: Yeah, I can see why some people dislike it. The writing at the beginning does justify the negative reviews. I personally didn't mind it as much since I (slowly) skimmed through it. It got better for the later chapters and I can see the author's effort to improve. Regardless, the writing is nothing stellar but not horrible either (for the later parts that is). The use of onomatopoeias is pretty excessive for my liking personally but I understand the author's intention for the tone of the novel to be much more casual. After some amount of re-reading, it certainly has somewhat grown on me.
Plot: I think the story is fantastic. It doesn't have a strong start (after the main character got the system). I did not enjoy the school setting very much, but that's just my personal taste. However, things get increasingly more enjoyable as the story advances further. I really like the psychological mind games between the protagonist and the antagonists here, albeit sometimes it gets slightly dragged out a bit. Also, I would love to see some hints or appearances of the werewolf who killed his parents since it was the main antagonist after all.
Characters: The main character is the reason why I'm in love with this novel. Sure, he's certainly not the brightest sometimes, but I love everything else about him. Unlike most MCs I came across, he's not some ordinary high school twink who suddenly found supernatural powers. Even before the appearance of the system, the dude was an absolute menace, being in the military force against supernaturals as a normal human. He's very cunning and ruthless, which is extremely fitting for a werewolf. Other than the MC, the females are quite lacking. Harem is not my cup of tea so I'm glad that this one is not too overbearing.
World building: The setting is pretty good. The world building is not heavy as it adds bits and pieces as the story goes on through the MC's missions. I really like the war-like atmosphere with a magi-tech world.
Overall, while it is not the best, it is certainly very enjoyable. I am currently and will continue to purchase privileged chapters and support the author.
PS: If you are dissapointed with this novel, I HIGHLY suggest "The Harvester"
I read 30 chapters and the Mc is still as stupid as the first chapter. I just can't stand it, I'm sure the novel will improve (I think the author had to torture himself to write about such a stupid Mc), this novel is not for me.Written through Google Translate
Very interesting read. Well done author for a refreshing and original work! The author writes well and has great story telling skills. A great read overall.
i found the concept of the story interesting. it isnt like those cliche Apocalypse novel where mc returns back to past and eats the crystal found inside the head of a zombie( which people are totally fine to eat something that is inside the brain of a rotting, gross zombie. no hesitation at all for cannibalism) to get stronger. the one major problem for this novel is grammar. along with several gramatical errors, the author used many words without even knowing the meaning of it which makes the whole sentence sound totally weird. i'd say just use simple words to write your story. correct and simple sentences are worth far more than sentences with fancy words that doesnt make any sense. and i would like to suggest that you edit your starting chapters. if your starting is bad then many people wont bother reading your novel and search for another one. i suggest using grammarly for solving gramatical errors.overall id say the story is interesting but bad grammar puts it off. dropping it now( as of ch 6) but maybe will pick it up in future if the author polishes the starting chapters
One of the best fantasy light novels i have read at webnovel, The world background is becoming more and more clear and the main character is one of the best mc there is, cruel, calculating cold blooded meaning he has all the great qualitues of a gReat main character
