Author I have already started looking forward to more chapter updates. This story is amazing. Keep updating!!!??
Is the book over?
awesome book !! worth reading
The translator deserves credit for their excellent work. The story itself is straightforward, but the main character lacks depth and charm compared to the merchant character. The heroines, however, exhibit some likability. If you're looking for a casual read with no particular expectations, it might be worth giving it a try.
Ohh.. so MC not that dense right.. I want to read something nice romance, to heal my little poor heart.. did you recommend this one? Or you have some in mind? Please tell me.. it's look like you have better view of some novel.. thnks~
This novel gets very dark. Other novels like reverend insanity who have villain mcs atleast have emotions of some sort, even if its twisted. But this mc just kinda feels like kind of a robot. Due to the nature of his system, he spends a lot of time with other people, but its like he never actually cares about them or ever really has emotions. Like fang yuan is hilarious and full of emotion, but hes completely fine to do anything, no matter how horrible as long as it gets what he wants. But this dude doesnt really feel like he has emotions, and just does things that are beneficial to him, but his only real motive is getting stronger, but theres nothing really other than that
Well, I don't know what novel you read because this is the second novel by this author.
Honestly, RI ruined romance in action novels for me
Tian Shu's Summary for Dummies
1. OP MC (But not a One Punch Man)
2. System Like Power (More like a semi system where he could assign points to his attributes and skills)
3. Various Power Systems (Since this is a world hooping novel, it wont limit itself to just Martial Arts but also other kinds of power systems like Mechs, Magic, etc. which the MC adapts)
4. Incremental Character Development (MC starts out ignorant, naive, and cunning but develops after experiencing things)
5. Average Plot Interest (Some worlds maybe interesting but some arent really, especially on the near ends ones. Also, every world is like 200-300 chapters so bear it in mind)
6. Frustrating Plot (You may find it frustrating reading at some point because the MC keeps getting his *ss kicked everytime he becomes weak)
7. No clear romance (Romance here is like a fleeting dream. MC really doesnt bother with it since it becomes an attachment, dont expect deep romance)
8. I like to throw my phone at the Author ?
It's really enjoyable to read. The main character, who was an assassin before transmigration, actually puts her skills to use, which sets this novel apart from others. It’s a great read, and I would definitely recommend it. However, I need to read further to give a more comprehensive review.
A fantastic narrative, but I wish there was a translated version available; Machine-Translated Literature (MTL) can be quite challenging to read. Despite that, the compelling story kept me engaged. Here's my appreciation for the elements:
1. The female lead is strong and level-headed, which I adore – she's not overly emotional but remains理智, making her a refreshing character.
2. The instant attraction between the FL and the protagonist is intriguing without being痴迷, which suits my preference for a slow-burning romance subplot.
3. The dominant FL character may exhibit ruthlessness, but they also exhibit understanding, striking a balance that makes them captivating.
4. The story's tone is a delightful blend of drama, intrigue, and lighter moments.
For those who enjoy stories set in a royal palace context, incorporating elements of political intrigue, crime-solving, and action, this would definitely be a worthwhile choice.
Additionally, if possible, I recommend reading the original Chinese version with translations, as I discovered that the translated content on certain websites provides a more satisfying experience, even though I started late.
"Versatile Mage" captivated me with its engaging blend of fantasy and character depth. The protagonist's magical prowess, seamlessly woven into a thought-provoking plot, kept me hooked from start to finish. Each chapter unfolded a new layer of intrigue, as the protagonist's growth both as a mage and as an individual resonated profoundly. The author's world-building was impressive, transporting me into a rich tapestry of magic and adventure. A must-read for fans of enchanting storytelling and immersive worlds.
