This novel was just disappointing to read. Not worth the time or the braincells to read beyond the free chapters.The author keeps on forcing the plot so the mc could stay in the family, making many plot holesand contradiction in the story.

I read this feeling anxious and excited. Anxious because the chapters are too few, excited because the book is simply so good.I hope Lauren's family show extreme fear and remorse towards Lauren before they die, if they must. But the father... I feel bad for him, especially after he's starting to show Lauren some semblance of care, and I don't know why. (Maybe because I have soft spot for parents.)I know it's not easy, but please, update more, author!
a story with a good idea that never materialized. the betrayal leading to transmigration is tired so if you do it, do it right. as some other reviews mentioned, the MC will showcase powers and then the author goes 'oh yeah the goddess helped him with that.'To me, it was a half done attempt complete with mostly ok grammar.it's a fun read but don't expect to add it to your library unless you are truly out of options.

Finally decided to make a review for this novel.First off I am caught up to chapter 507.For me one of the few I personally would give a complete five star for as it has exceeded all my expectations for character, world building and power system. Character: Extremely well done everyone has enough depth to them. The mc is smart and watching how he uses his wits to beat the odds is truly satisfying. The main character uses everything at his disposal to gain power and survive in this deadly world. A lot of times a mc who is evil and doesn’t have attachments with other characters can get boring and monotonous as I will need to take a break before coming back to read more but I have not experienced it with this novel at any point.The world is vast and we learn more as the mc does it does what is needed providing us with a place we want to learn more about and explore.The power system is a bit complex and can be hard to grasp but is well thought out and the power is well earned each time. As the story progresses the power and abilities the mc gains become more and more interesting. The story feels very natural on how it progresses and continues to improve where the stakes become higher but the rewards are as well.I am not that great with reviews but I highly recommend on reading this.
