I've been waiting for a good novel about ancient Rome for years, now I see that Zentmeister has created one and I have no doubt that it will be incredible.
It was really good for the first 40 chapters, but literally chapter 41 the Nationalism skyrocketed and become solely about how China can handle anything while other countries will fall. It literally says that Mein Country (America) is the strongest country in the world, but is struggling to hold the enemies back. All while China could easily handle 3 times more than them, all because they have a longer history.You can't claim one country to be the strongest, then suddenly claim another country could easily have 3 times more than even the strongest country.
The overall flow and direction of the story isn't bad, with a little light hearted commentary spicing things up makes it a decent read. Unfortunately the Author has it he'll bent on repeating certain things such as how handsome masculine, or how great the Mc is with women. You will not have more then two chapters before this nonsense starts up again. Alas even all the characters we've been introduced to are female and basically throw themselves at the Mc. I personally do not like harems so this novel isn't for me.
Terrible generic Wuxia novel, that can be found anywhere. Already read too many of them. Not another one.

this novel is perfect. story development is absoulutley great. world background is perfect. I hope writer won't stop because this novel is totaly perfect . I have only one regret and that one is Istarted too early and now I can't wait new chapters :)

Good novel, bad novels, trash novels.This? This is a good one. Written like an epic, with a classical plot of the MC suffering with only his lovable (really, she is lovable) blood-related (no harem here folks) sister, and finally the pair of siblings were given the chance to rise up and carve out their own existence in the world.As of the other wonderful reviewers, have said, this has excellent world building, story-building that is never fast or slow, with the MC adequately and sufficently merciless to his enemies, but kind to others who supported him, and thebones that had never slighted him or his sister.tldr character summary: a reasonable, realistc character, and adorable, valiant, kind hearted sister that I envy with all my heart.I'll cut this short. Please do yourself a favor and try this. Read all the free chapters. Honestly, this is one of the best books that I've read in the last year. It has the potential to go for the distance and change the outlook on the average Eastern Fantasy novels on this App. It's written well and thought out very well, with the right amount of pace and not too much info that it confuse the reader. It gives them just the right amount of info and excitement that it leaves the reader wanting more Chapters to Read.
I like it so far the story is a bit simple but has promise for a much more complex storyline. Good work, Author. Give it a try you won't regret it.
