The moment he lowered his guard, the girl rushed towards him, grasping his throat tightly with her skinny hands, completely draining his strength. His body felt heavy, his breath weak, his mind filled with thoughts, thought of self preservation no matter what. The kid shouted a name repeatedly, a name he didn't recognize. With every second he felt like he would lose control. What a strange yet, familiar feeling. Suddenly, Varren snapped. He tighten his grip on his weapon out of sheer anger.

He was tall, taller than he was. Lucci had seen taller, but, they didn't seem as tall in perspective, almost as if the Commodore had the sort of presence that enemies ran from in just seeing him.
The left and right army were the spear. Tasked at chipping away at the enemies numbers until they can push throw and penetrate the Dragonborn's headquarters, behind the center army. At least that's how everyone thought it was going to happen. No one could predict that the Dragonborn general would be so cunning. All but one.

The main thing that you should note about this novel is that the main character is an idiot, not only is he an idiot but he gets progressively dumber as the novel goes on. Now don’t get me wrong I like this novel quite a bit, I’ll always enjoy a good dungeon society/ skill stealing story but the main character is what one would call a battle junky with a bad habit of practically announcing that he has cheat like abilities to everyone and their grandmother.I’d give the world and overall story 5/5But character design / development is a -3/5 for me.
