First non-brain dead MC in a trial read in quite some time. Interesting spin on the passive skill system trope. I like that the setting is located in a demonic cultivation sect. Will continue to read if it makes it through trial read.

Average-face trope novel..don't know why authors LOVE average-looking mcs but let me tell you 'I don't. I don't know with you guys but I find this kind of novel "Unattractive" lowers the beauty of the novel and my interest in it. Story is so-so + Average looks = bad novels (for me)

Honestly this could have been perhaps a hidden gem if it wasn't for the fact that it's a cultivation novel. Magic, system and cultivation, three settings that contradict each other in a way that it makes it hard for authors to design a power system that feels impactful, fair and somewhat balanced. In this novel you could hardly feel the 'magic' element, simply replace 'magic spells' with 'martial arts', 'magic' with cultivation and 'academy' with sect and you get yourself a generic cultivation novel where the more our Mc progresses in his story the weaker he actually gets (not technically) , also I don't see the point of the system, it just does everything for our Mc, people in the reviews call him 'smart', 'unique' ... But the system literally gives him everything from randomly invited students that are flowing with talents to mythical-grade magical roots and anything else he happens to need at the convenient time, at this point I'm asking why not make him build the 'academy' from scratch with the help of his sugar daddy (the system)? Or perhaps make him actually care for the 'academy'?. You know, whatever, moving onWhats with the pacing in this novel? Everything happens so suddenly and randomly without any prior development or foreshadowing that any event in this novel whether it's an important side character backstory arc or a simple info dump immediately loses its weight before it even starts. That's again another problem with these type of novels smh
The novel lacks the plot/story. it's not appealing at all even though I have read 70 chapters. the author clearly wants to make it interesting but when the overall story lacks it can't be helped. no wonder even after almost 200 chapters this novel is 300k views. just very very average and boring novel. author don't feel bad and delete the review cuz it's the truth. I hope I'm the future you can write some interesting novels if you can overcome your current capabilities.
Unlike your first book this mc is really not great.Naive Stupidprideful The story is interesting but very slow.The pov change so early in the story to show other characters is very bad in my opinion because I think side characters and mobs shouldn’t get so much screen time. The whole nationalsm like fanatics of the vampire race is also very annoying and I feel good that they lost because of how they act.
This is a very popular book on royal road for anyone who doesn’t know.
It's a story about ghost taking over a new body (he is still a ghost possessing the body and not a reincarnate). The world had ghost, shaman/Taoist? and envoy/worker from afterlife. Story development is kinda slow but each chapter are interesting enough. Maybe after chapter 20-30+ will you see the mc purpose/something interesting. Mostly comedy and a little action. Not much of horror involve except ghost (which are not told in scary manners).
In starting chapters, some players reach lvl 50in 1.5days (3 days in-game) is looking a bit extreme to imagine what would levels be after 3yr in MC life. will they reach lvl5000 or in 3yrs.I think author never played any RPG genre games although it is fantasy it is better to use low levels for narration of story.like reaching lvl 10 after 3 days in-game.
I really like the concept that is being developed in the story and how well the author is implementing said story through their use of many metaphors/analogies and beautiful imagery. The characters seem very well done currently and the background of the world is pretty good! I also admire the slight spice that's been added which I find really nice. Overall it is fantastic and I eagerly await the story's continuation.
