what the hell?? how many chapters are you going to lock under exorbitant non-ad spirit stone price? This is BS. Put ads back in, or lower the price, this is absolutely horrible.

I'm pretty sure this novel is at least partially inspired by A Hangman's Diary: The Journal of Master Franz Schmidt, Public Executioner of Nuremberg especially the start of the novel though obviously this is a mystical setting and not a real diary of an executioner. It's like a combination of that and a somewhat interesting twist of a sign-in novel except instead of signing in he executes demons to get rewards. Unsure where it will go beyond the executions. Overall, it seems fairly decent. I think it could have been better if instead of a sign in type system he just gave the MC a cultivation technique that relied on slaughter to cultivate and if you get to a certain level you can leave and join a sect or something. That'd be at least a little more interesting than falling victim to some of the same problems that many sign-in novels have such as getting x number of years of cultivation as a reward. Still it is at least a better concept than most sign-in novels at least at this point.

Sorry, my review is pretty bad. I read this and wasn’t laughing at all. I don’t dislike the writing and it gets pretty hectic at times. I don’t see this as hilarious and I find myself wondering why everyone laughs at some parts. I don’t get it. The story is okay, well- written, cliched and epic. But to me, the comedy is non-existent. If you are looking for laughs, I cannot guarantee you will. - In terms of the types of reviews I’ve seen the average triple ratio is 90% found it funny/refreshing. 5% found it not hilarious. 5% is other.

So far, I'm really enjoying the story even though most characters are one-dimensional. It's still fun overall. However, the name changes are annoying. Victor is now Achilles. Lear becomes Li Er then back to Lear. Sometimes, dialogues seem to be attributed wrongly. It's disruptive and incredibly irritating.
Despite all the hype, this story fail and dissapointing... Making a football novel really hard it seems. First, too many characters, if this anime we can remember their faces but too many names in just few chapters.. Well football a.k.a soccer is team sport so everyone play a role.. Lastly........
Wait a minute what happen to the ads and new chapters are now 12 stones? Yeah I ain't using this app for this any more. I'll be on the free light novel website reading the same chapter for 0 stones 4 stones and a 30sec ad I can hang with but this nah fam
i think the novel is popular just because of the art style in the manhwa (it is very cool), this story is like any regular Korean novel, you enjoy reading the beginning then it turns bland (i read 180~200 chapters) what is the goal of the mc (let's keep it hidden till the final chapters) this is a fighting category (is there someone the mc can't defeat so he works hard to win? he wins the fight every time somehow) no screen time for others his mother was there like what 8 paragraphs?another thing all Korean novels have (a rushed ending) seems like the author doesn't want to write any morei read like 7 novels with same things above maybe more( no doubt they different ideas to write about but still)
