Holy. This is a story about an absolute idiot. He fully believes serving 3 years in maximum security prison, and being framed as a terrorist by his leadership is all part of his grand mission. To his utter surprise after 3 years half his family is dead, his name is tarnished and his little sister is about to trafficked into a prostitution ring. Even still, he's apparently the 'invincible lord' who is the height of personal power and supreme intelligence in the world. What kind of plot is this? What kind of protagonist is this?
I'm not sure how this novel is so highly rated. IMO it's flaws are unacceptable. -Author lacks math knowledge. He's describing things such as vast oceans when the entire world itself is just a few football fields in size. Later on describes forests, poisonous swamps, etc. when the entire world is barely over 120 acres. -The progress of others is not properly explained. The girl's world is somehow close to "creating cards" huh? How are their worlds even advancing? It takes eras for his world to progress, is it real-time for others?- MC keeps doing some things out of nowhere just because that's the way...no prior introduction or explanation. Some actions, items, additions to simulation, etc. fall under this "just because" trend. In short, can't recommend at all.
Absolutely amazing novel, 100% recommendation, fan service scenes are great and humor... godly level, no less than that. Plz give this a chance, you will not regret!

I keep thinking about the Saint Salar imagery throughout these chapters. The bard's praise songs are literally quoted: 'Saint Salar is pure and good. He will protect all living beings in the world.' And then we watch this same 'Saint Salar' slit throats without blinking, his eyes remaining 'tightly shut' the entire time. The irony is brutal. The ceremonial dagger—the same one used in 'merciful' executions—becomes a murder weapon. And that portrait at the end! Queenie Carnes looking at the replica of Saint Salar, noting how 'cold and hollow' he looks, how he's 'staring intently in a certain direction outside the frame, as if waiting for something.' Waiting for what? The original portrait is kept in an underground vault, no bigger than a diary. A tiny, hidden image of a 'saint' who was apparently anything but. Meanwhile, the real Salar—this demon god in human form—is walking around being called a descendant of Saint Salar, which he treats with disgust: 'Salar's tastes were truly astonishing.' The whole theme of false sanctity vs. monstrous reality is just layered on top of itself. Who is the real saint here? Who is the real monster? And what does it mean that the portrait's eyes seem to follow something we can't see?
Original review:The MC especially to listen to was really cringy. I personally didn't like the way the comedy was shown, it felt forced to me. I am gonna update the review if it gets better / changes for the better.Updated review: I got back into this novel after forgetting about it. Great thing about it is I could remember more and more as i kept reading. As for my original review I can't remember where exactly that happened but I continued from chapter 90 or so and it's not bad at all, updated the review from 3 to 3.6
