It's been a while since I finished it but I still want to review it. For start, there is basically NO ROMANCE, this is pure fight for power novel, power system is sick, i love the stages, the MC is realistic and pragmatic, it's sad that he will suffer a lot, the ending is the problem for me... I didn't like it, personally I wanted the end differently but overall this is a good novel. 8/10
Honestly, I think it's due to the lack of updates. This novel hasn't been updated for 6 months already, so it's not surprising that it's buried this low

The first arc was fun but now it feels like the author is on commission and wants to beat this dead horse until nothing remains. God d*mn the second arc is so painful and excruciating. End it bro please end the empire arc for the love of god
Bro i swear i started it but it reminded me of something else when i was just at chapter 2 so i went there to check that out first ? ( gonna start this one again today )
But i suggest at least read first 3 chapter you will get an idea about it. It's funny and references are really good ( btw i don't think there's gonna be a romance harem thing )

Sure, if you find yourself needing an emotional outlet, this book might be just right for you. It reminds me of "Eastern Palace" with its ruthless, ambitious, and self-centered main character. Thankfully, there's no happy ending for him. I really enjoyed it, and I'm grateful to the translator for their work.
Stop. You will regret reading this novel.
