Your stories are so unique but so much fun.
I love age gap stories this one is so good
absolutely in love with this book!!! haven't been able to put it down ...
Below average novel.
I read over 100 chapters just to see if the novel got any better. A lot of other reviewers rated it 5 stars and claimed it to be a hidden gem.
It's not a hidden gem; it's barely an average novel. First of all, the beginning of the novel is pretty cliché. Our main character (MC) is thrown into this world, and the story starts. Suddenly, he is making girls fall in love with him. We know nothing about the MC—what is his age, what was his job in the real world, or what his motivations are.
And the lazy writing. Around the 25th chapter, there's a storyline in which the MC makes 30 billion by betting 5 billion in the stock market in 10 minutes. I don't have to say how ignorant the author is. He even made a note below the chapter stating that this is a fictional world, so don't take it seriously. But that doesn't change the fact that it is lazy writing. If he had waited a month, it could have been more believable, but he rushed it in 10 minutes. I couldn't take the novel seriously after reading this chapter. Even if the MC pulled a rocket out of his ass, I would be like 'meh.'
And there was one scene where the MC didn't like two people, so he sent them to work in coal mines, forcefully and in public. This was straight-up kidnapping, but it was ignored by everyone.
I picked it up for a casual read, but it gave me a headache instead. If you can stomach stupidity, then you can read it.
The first chapter is fantastic! The plot is hilarious, and I can't wait to follow the adventures of our tall, broke, handsome Shou!
It initially had potential to be my favorite feel-good story, but they botched it so badly that now I despise it with great intensity. I intended to rate it one star, but mistakenly clicked something else. Many positive reviews seem to come from readers who finished the book, so don't let those deceive you. Despite thinking I was prepared because I knew the general plot, the ending still caught me off guard. The story started strong, with the protagonist seemingly on a path to happiness, but then disaster struck: the main character publicly broke off his engagement, falsely accusing her of infidelity to marry the prince, leaving her heartbroken and devastated. As the drama unfolded and characters slowly uncovered the truth, I expected a satisfying conclusion, but instead, the narrative abruptly ended, leaving me with this frustrated review.
