I need to talk about the outfit description because honestly this is one of the most satisfying fashion sequences I've read in any novel and I don't care who knows it. Jiang Lingyuan shows up to someone else's wedding wearing what appears on the surface to be an understated lotus-colored robe with no embroidery. The other women in the manor — Fourth Eldest Madam especially — immediately dismiss it as cheap, thinking 'The Shen family had only been glorious for a brief moment.' And then the author drops the bomb: the buttons are multicolored threads woven into bat designs, and when fastened they form the Five Bats Bringing Longevity pattern. The skirt hem has the same motif. The hairpins, the earrings — everything connects. This isn't just a description of clothes. This is a woman broadcasting her identity through symbolism that only people who actually pay attention can decode. The scene at the wedding banquet itself is brilliantly constructed. You have the carriage hierarchy, the whispered conversations between the younger misses, Eldest Madam's conspicuous absence (which the narrator notes makes it 'truly difficult for others to respect her'), and this slow reveal of who actually holds power in the room. Jiang Lingyuan walks in chatting and laughing with Lu Yun, and the women who had been gossiping about her are suddenly rendered speechless. The worldbuilding here isn't in grand descriptions of palaces or battles — it's in the micro-politics of a carriage seat and a well-placed hairpin. The Duke Yu manor feels alive because every glance and whisper carries the weight of social calculation. That's craft.

Seems like y’all know what’s going on, I’m looking into evolving into the next level of deterioration of the mind, it all started with the normal cartoons, then got into few episodes of Naruto got into Naruto and started searching for it in pirated anime sites and then into the manga, then here we are webnovels, when I try to go back to the things I used to do like manga and anime it doesn’t feel the same anime feels like I could be doing something and manga like I’m seeing pictures now there are some caveats like black clover anime and peerless dad in manga, webnovels just is the better of them all and I’m kinda getting bored so what’s the next level?
