Well done, I enjoyed some of the commical bits too!
Love this book a lot!
This story was great!!! Book 2 is so far my favorite because Alejendro is by far my favorite character. It would have been nice to hear more of Enrique side. Can't wait to read more of the series!!!!
the story started to be dragged on, with half the chapters you pay for having shoutouts or comments that have nothing to do with the story. author got mad at customers rightfully complaining when she didn’t update as she said she would and keeps saying she’ll update and never does. i wouldn’t read
I hope they can find love with each other. and maybe Josh can find live with Christians chosen Luna?
I'm really enjoying this book, it's awesome, but author you should have notified your readers most of them still don't know about this book
waiting for the update
This is my second time reading this story. It was great from start to finish!
The contrast between Pei Jinchuan's old life and his new room is one of the most vivid pieces of worldbuilding I've read in a while. Let me paint this for you. His old home: dark, damp tenement building, overdue rent, the smell of poverty and neglect. Then he wakes up and what does he see? Floor-to-ceiling windows, lush trees, a lawn, warm gentle sunlight slanting into a bright bedroom. The text literally says it seemed like heaven. But then—plot twist—he's still injured, still in pain, still wrapped in bandages. So it's not actually heaven. It's just a nicer cage. And that detail about the faint scent of ointment? That's Xu Qiao's handiwork. She's everywhere in this space, even when she's not physically present. The scene where she's sitting on a pure white woolen carpet in a rabbit-patterned nightgown, playing with Legos while he watches her from bed, is almost surreal. It's this jarring juxtaposition of innocence and control. She looks like a delicate girl but she's holding all the power. The sunlight streaming through the window makes her look like a watercolor painting, and the narrative explicitly tells us it's a scene you'd hesitate to disturb. But disturb it we do, because the moment of beauty is immediately shattered when his eyes turn cold and detached. The setting itself becomes a character here—it's not just pretty furniture and nice windows, it's a weaponized space designed to make him feel both grateful and trapped.
Loved loved loved!!!!! can't wait for more chapters.
