Thought wt all incidents author would let FL n ML get together but instead made him had sex wt 'wrong' woman in the name of amnesia. What a plot! I stopped n dropped. So disappointed wt the twist when ML had sex wt other woman.
I liked this book. The last chapter felt a bit rushed. I was VERY frustrated with some of the characters! But very good!

First and foremost, the TL is somewhat akin to an edited MTL. Its readability is neither particularly high nor low; sometimes I found myself getting confused about certain parts, but I still managed to understand most of it. In terms of storytelling, it was adequate but not outstanding. The author's writing style suggests inexperience, with a lack of detailed scenarios and repetitive actions that can get monotonous the more you read.
The primary reason I didn't place this novel on my HIGHLY RECOMMENDED list is due to the main character's (MC) personality. For someone who has experienced thousands of lives, he acts remarkably childish. While he is physically a child, his mental capacity is that of an adult. His naivety and gullibility are frustrating, especially considering his past as a Demon who slaughtered an entire music realm. Don’t argue that his memory was sealed or that he’s a child at the moment; these explanations don’t justify his inconsistent behavior. If he desires to become a superstar, he should be aware that many people will be watching him—common sense, really. Given his adult mental capacity, he should at least be conscious of the consequences. Additionally, his desire to be a superstar stems from wanting the audience to see and acknowledge him, yet his actions, such as acting as a blue dragon and hiding his name, contradict this goal. This childlike attitude seems out of place for someone with so much life experience.
Anyway, this is just my review and subjective opinion. Feel free to try reading it if you're interested; I’m not trying to discourage you from doing so.
I was reading the Seven Seas translation, which doesn't break the story into the original chapters but instead consolidates them into one large chapter. So I'm not sure exactly which chapter I was on when I stopped, but it was right after the protagonist returned to civilization with Fran.
While the "I'm a sword" gimmick is somewhat intriguing, the way it's handled feels like it's not fully exploring its potential. The protagonist can kill things just fine on his own, and the only reason Fran wields the sword seems to be because he was bored or something. Everything is treated in a way that feels generic.
Moreover, these generic elements are executed in a very dull manner. The prose reads like someone recounting their grinding sessions in a video game you're not interested in. Even after Fran is introduced, the plot rushes through non-combat scenes so quickly that there's no chance to develop any real connection to her character beyond her role as Party Member 2.
Additionally, after the protagonist returns to civilization, there's a conversation where a merchant tells him that "goblins are always chaotic evil," and the protagonist starts to wonder if that's really true... after he has spent the last hundred pages and several weeks (at least, by my estimation) slaughtering them simply because he was annoyed by how they look and act.
It would be one thing if the protagonist and the story just assumed that standard JRPG world tropes apply and that humanoid monsters are just monsters. That might be a bit of a stretch, but I can accept genre conventions. However, it's another matter entirely for the protagonist to only start questioning whether "goblins aren't always chaotic evil" after a hundred pages of slaughtering them for such a sociopathic reason. This makes the protagonist extremely unlikable in a way that I seriously doubt the author intended.
This plot is so poorly thought out that it makes me wonder if the author is incompetent.
