When I clicked on this story, I expected something completely different based on the title. What I got instead? Chaos. Glorious, nonsensical chaos that somehow works!We start in a sci-fi world with armors, systems, and regressors. I thought, "Okay, I've seen this setup before." And then BAM! The MC dies in the most ridiculous, over-the-top series of events imaginable. It’s the kind of "Did that really just happen?" moment that hooks you instantly.Next thing you know, the MC wakes up as the most overpowered sultan ever. I’m thinking, "Alright, time for some power fantasy goodness!" But nope, things get even wilder. At this point, I’m just along for the ride!Now we’re watching the sultan's life unfold like a divine Netflix special, projected to the entire world. And this supposed “villain” of the story? He’s not even a bad guy... he’s relatable, kind, and shockingly likable. I’m sitting here wondering, "How does this guy become the villain? Is he even really the villain, or is this all one big misunderstanding?"The writing is sharp, the twists are insane, and the characters? Chef’s kiss. The author has me hooked with all the layered storytelling. It’s like they’ve crammed three different genres into one and somehow made it work.

Okay, I need to talk about this death scene because WOW. The way the author structures this whole sequence is just devastating. You start with the mundane—Grandpa Qin saving up coins, foraging chestnuts, collecting bottles for tuition—and then BAM, the summer after first year of high school, he's gone. No warning. Five days apart and the old man is dead. But what really gets me is HOW he dies. Not in a hospital bed surrounded by family, not peacefully in his sleep. He wanders off on a rainy night because his ox is missing—that ox was supposed to be sold for Bao Wa'er's schooling—and he just keeps walking until he falls down a slope sixty kilometers from home. And then lies there for THREE DAYS while ants eat his eyes and ears. The author doesn't even shy away from describing the body: "the sockets of his eyes sunken and pitted, the eyeballs gone, his mouth agape, his face covered in death-spots, a frightful sight." No one else could look at it. But Qin Ziheng? He throws his arms around that body and wails. And the narrative structure here is so clever—this flashback is embedded inside the present-day return to the village for Qingming. You get the contrast between the young bride's curiosity about the successful Qin Ziheng and the brutal truth of where he came from. The plot doesn't just tell you he's poor and hardworking; it SHOWS you through the grandfather's sacrifice. Every coin smoothed flat before handing over. Every year, returning to repair the grave himself because "in life his grandfather never got to live in a fine house, so over on the other side he ought to live a little better." That line just destroyed me. The plot is basically: a boy who lost everything, succeeded anyway, and comes home every year to honor the only person who ever believed in him. Simple? Yes. Effective? Absolutely.
let's just say I loved old man mc as long as they are not dumb enough it's acceptable to me
It's a good start altogether. The plot is good. Thought it's hard to read because of the rare and complicated words. But if author made it more simple to read it will be good.
